I can't make any guarantees on Actonel for you, as to whether you might "feel" it or if it might hel*****t, of course. My freind and her mom gave me both of their 90 days' supply (yippee! even with good ins, it's expensive!) because it hurt both of them.

But then they admitted they took it and went back to bed! Um, what part of going back to bed is "remain standing or sitting upright for 30 minutes"? Well, they corrected their ways and I didn't get any more freebies, but they were able to start using it (and they got it for free).

My preference would also be to take it and go back to bed. But now that I have my routine, like I said, using all those exfoliators and hair things and all of that on Actonel day, I don't mind the wait.

I mean, my skin is positively GLOWING on Actonel day, right?

P.S.  My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.

Aha, now you are speaking my language, skin was my career. Exfoiliating is my daily routine from my forehead to my feet. I swear it has washed my years off...I started at 16 and so happy I did. At first it was 2 x week, now I use firming facial pads that exfoiliate daily, sometimes morning and night and then I do my body in the shower. Don't you just love how you look and how soft you feel!

Yes. I have always had dry body skin, but of course, I had typical teenage face skin. My mother always made it a point to show me redheads who were or were not aging well, so started me using moisturizer way young. I mean, I need moisturizer WITH zits? But like you, glad I did it, since I could look so very much older had I not. And that's after staying out of the sun carefully for many years. Even so, I've still had some run-ins with skin cancer. Basal Cell. One wonders how I could get that but no vit D. Of course, now I have this article that explains it, but that was a mystery for a long time!

Usually I just run in and out of the shower, doing what must be done. But Actonel day is "use up the expensive stuff day". LOL

And yes, my skin is softer for days! I'd like to think my bones are proportionally denser, but then I wake up.........
