Day 5 of 5 Day Pouch Test!
Good morning!
I've made it to day 5 (although I dreamt last night was eating junk!!!). Maybe a pound loss today (I should have got out my DIGITAL scale!) So maybe 7 pounds lost.
I ate really well yesterday, even when I had to drive to Dallas and my boss wanted to take me to lunch at a Mongolian grill. I got some chicken and shrimp, my sauce, and said NO STARCH!
I don't have my usual enthusiasm this morning, probably because my two year old was up most of the night for no apparent reason! I'm pretty tired.
I'll post again tomorrow with my final update. I may do this again (I'll join those of you starting next week), depending on how I feel this weekend.
I appreciate all the support you've given me and I hope that I've inspired someone else. I was about as far off track as I could be. I didn't really think I'd make it back but here I am. If I can do, YOU can do it! One thing I really like is that you are not hungry. When it's the liquid phase, you can drink as much as you want, etc. That makes it easier for me.

Way to go. I am on day 3 and shocked that I am still doing it. Last night was real hard. My DH had made turkey and bacon sandwiches on the freshest rolls that he warmed in the oven with melted cheese. I was dyeing, I didn't look at my soup the same way. I left the kitchen with soup in and and never went back in. Made the kids clean up themselves.
so today I am hungry. I didn't have time to make eggs for breakfast. I had a protein drink, which yesterday carried me over and today left me hungry. Not sure what I can do at this point but only 2 more days to go......

Well Done Laina!! I am on day3 and its going well. This morning I had scrambled eggs and just had some tuna~both tasted SOOOO good! Last night was a little rough b/c I was hungry. I was wondering if you have any idea on how many calories you were eating daily??? I know it says to eat on day3 whenever you're hungry and doesn't really address calories. thanks!

I really don't know! I keep meaning to go to fitday but just don't seem to find the time. She says the goal is not to lose weight but seems like most of us do....
Plus I just started drinking some concoction of vinegar, honey, flaxseed oil, olive oil, etc that I'm sure has too many calories!!! Don't know how long this will last!
Best of luck to you! I'm going to try to eat "on my own" tomorrow and I'll be out with a girlfriend. I plan to stick with our rules and get to my goal!!!
