Nearing goal...

Just wondering what are some things I should start thinking about as I approach my goal. I guess I will need to start increasing my calorie intake because I am still losing pretty rapidly. I lost three pounds last week and I am only six pounds from my goal of 175.

You're probably right about needing to increase your calories a bit to stop losing.  If you're not already doing so, I'd encourage you to start tracking what you are eating now.  That'll give you a baseline daily calorie number to start from.  Then add calories in increments of 100-150 calories per day, until you are no longer losing.  And remember you want to add calories from a mix of proteins, good carbs, and fat!!!   Good luck reaching your goal and working on learning how to maintain! Hey M, I am not qualified to even be on this board since I only had surgery 5 weeks ago, and a dern slow loser at that, but you guys are very encouraging! CONGRATS  on your fantastic losses!!   Wow...almost at goal. I tend to agree with the prior poster and just increase your calories till you even out..... You are awesome!  Good for you!
