wondering if there's any long term patients out there and if there are any complications that you have come across with being 7+ years out that we don't see in the first few years.

Like?

The free hypoglycemia that comes with RNY?

THE vitamin/mineral deficiencies that are a sure thing on an inadequate plan?

Small Bowel obstruction?

Any of those can happen by the 2 yr mark.

Can you kinda be more specific?

Regain is the most obvious, but I'm thinking you already knew that.

P.S.  My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.

I found out today that I have a low iron count and my doctor is running more test to see if I am anemic.  I'm not sure if that is a result from my bypass 7 years ago.  But I thought I would throw it out anyway.
