Hey all.. its back to work for us.. how did we do. I had a low day myself but I did ok I think. tomorrow is gonna be crazy so I am planning my day ahead of time and should be prepared. My ship is sailing but not sure how well. I ate those higher amounts this weekend and gained 2 pounds.. I hope its only because my body said hey look some food and it will go back down. Other wise I may be joining the 5 day pouch test with you Alesia.

So here was my day..


Breakfast

Well, Daughter didn't come and get the desert from yesterday so you know who had some guess wo had some? OH! i must have been dreaming when i said i lost 6 lbs...its 3 geez!!! Here is what I ate today: B almonds 12     yogert 6 oz L Protein drink 9.5 oz   D Turkey 3 oz      1 tab. Mayo       Guacamole w/ tomatos 1/4 c S 1 slice cantalope     Protein drink 9.5 oz     Pie filling apple 1/4 c     ice cream 1 c     jello 1 c Cal. 1027    Fat    30    Carb 105    Protein 81 Way to many carbs today.  I need to get more drinking in also...that has always been so hard for me. Lets see....69oz for me today which is good...i do count the jello as liquid and protein drinks. I have a very slow matabolism...I don't really loose unless I  cut way back. Altho this is the first time I have tried to loose again since surgery. But i always ate about 1000 calories when I was looseing the first time around. See you tomm : )

Pretty good day for me, probably a little low on water today, but otherwise I'm good. Bloating!!! OMGSH, I don't know what's up but I'm sick and tired of dealing with it. Every day, every day!!!! Now yesterday the only carbs to cut would have been popcorn. But today I'm up 2 pounds AGAIN and feel miserable!!! I need a better way to deal with BM issues. I'm tired of not being regular. I'm sure it has to do with irregular BM's.... UGH, the joys of wls!!! b - oatmeal w/ protein powder (220, 4, 23,19) l - turkey cheese wrap (220, 6, 14, 27) d - noodless lasagna (234, 12, 10, 28) green beans (7, 0, 2, 0) hmmm, should eat more green beans. lol    snacks:  protein drink (185, 4, 11, 24) string cheese (120, 5, 0 18) sf pudding (60, 2, 13, 2) popcorn (126, 7, 14, 2) Calories: 1171 Fat: 39 Carbs: 86 Protein: 121

Wow... that is a nice day Laurie. nice protein, nice everything. I sorry you have a such a hard time with you BM's. I know a lot of ppl do. Once in a great while for me but for the most part I am regualar.. increasing fluids should help. have you tried colace. I think we can take that.

Very nice day. I like that you got the calories up to 1000. My nut told me if I eat more often I will keep my metabolism up. I eat 6 times a day to get my calories in. You might want to try adding one more protein shake to up that a bit more.. you are doing great and loosing is loosing whether it's one pound of 20. Think about how far you have come.

Went away for the weekend and lost 2 lbs :) Must have been all the dancing I did with the family.  Breakfast: Oatmeal Snack: Oatmeal Lunch: 1/2 whole wheat wrap with chicken, ham , cheese and honey mustard Snack: 5 whole wheat pita chips and 2 tbsp natural peanut butter Dinner: Ham and baked poato with some cheese and a lil sour cream (fat free) Snack: Baked Apples with oatmeal, splenda brown suagr and nuts on top.  Protien Drink : 42gr Got my water in too!!!

Hi Shelly.

Not sure how many calories you got in. You need more protein in your diet though. I see a lot of oatmeal, which I love too, so throw some chicken in it. I bet your carbs are up there from all that oatmeal.

Nice to meet you and welcome aboard to a journey on hopefully some smooth seas. Remember you're the captain of your own ship.

Hey Carla and all others peeking in today : Carla, man, know what you mean about the weekend, they have always been my greatest challenge too, not just post WLS but on any diet plan I've tried, its sooo much easier to follow a plan during the work week when everything is regimented...I was back on track for Monday and satisfied with the results of my day...For now I'm am working a modified food plan that Susan Maria put out on her Bariatrics website for a 5 lb challenge, will see how that goes in helping me to regain control, especially over the carbs... B -  10 oz Choc/coconut Protein on the Go smoothie S - 7 oz strawberry yogurt smoothie L- 1/2 a crab cake and 1/2 cup homemade mac-n-cheese S - Oh Yeah! choc protein bar D - 1 cup turkey chili-stoup and 1 garlic knot S- SF protein hot cocoa and 1 sf peppermint pattie PLUS - 84 1/2 oz water/crystal light and 10 oz hot tea Cals  -  1143     Fat  -  48     Carbs - 86     Protein -  96  Bye for now, Alesia

I like what I see. great day. love all your totals.. You are doing great... I sure those little nasty pounds will be dropping soon captain. Make them walk the plank.

Good luck with the new diet plan.. seems like it could be a winner..
