Hi there, I have been off and on this board a few times, but I need more motivation.Since I have not ever reached my goal and am watching everything I eat, well lets say I don't eat. I have been 188 for 6 months now. I stared at 267,so I am ok with it,or I guess I have to be.Ok I have the plabiest boobs. They must weigh 20 pounds.  haha ! Actually I went to see this plastic surgeon in Laguna Beach $11,000 yeah right................ I  think not! Lin in Ca

Hello, Lin! Congratulations with your success! Not eating is not beneficial to you in any way!  You need food to sustain your LIFE.  Also, you will NOT lose weight by NOT eating.  You MUST eat in order to have a metabolism and lose weight.   I don't know how to direct you in beginning to eat again.  I suggest that you see a professional -- either a psychologist or a dietician or BOTH who can work in conjunction with you. As for plastic surgery, I personally don't think having surgery while you're not eating is a good idea regardless of the cost.  How can you obtain proper nutrients in order to endure the trauma of surgery and recover from it?

Also, how are you able to take your vitamins and supplements without eating?  You are headed for huge problems.  If you don't eat adequate amounts of protein, your body will start eating the muscles of your body.  Your heart is a muscle.

Low potassium can put you in a coma.

Low and/or lacking B vitamins can cause permanent nerve damage.  One girl I remember is left in a wheelchair because she didn't take proper vitamins.

This really scares me.  You are headed for severe conditions that may not be recoverable.  Please seek counsel.

I hope this helps and that you are better soon!

I have two sides to my brain - a right side and a left side.  The trouble is sometimes there is nothing left in the right side and nothing right in the left side.
