Healthy vegetable alternative for dressing this Thanksgiving!
This is SOOOO good! In fact I'm eating some right now while I type this!
Here goes:
3 regular cans of whole kernel corn
3 regular cans of mixed veggies
4 regular cans of Campbells Healthy 98% fat free cream of chicken soup
1 whole stalk of celery diced
1 whole onion diced
at least 5 TABLESPOONS of sage (but I add more because the more you add the more it tastes like dressing)
1Tablespoon garlic salt
1Tablespoon onion salt
1Tablespoon black pepper
You can add a little milk if you want, but it's not necessary really. You mix all these together and put in a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until the celery and onion are cooked. You can grate cheese and melt on top if you wish also.
It tastes best with smoked turkey and that's what I have in mine in a bowl right now and I"m eating it for dinner. I could eat this stuff all day long! The celery, onion and sage is what makes this tastes like dressing so you can add more if you like. This will feed quite a few people, so you can downsize it if you would like.
