For Men Only: Sexual and Personal

After about 1 year out (RnY/gall bladder), I noticed that my penis is larger- both when erect and not.  At first I thought it was just my imagination.  Then I thought that, just maybe, there is increased blood flow due to the weight loss, etc.  Then my wife commented that she feels deeper penetration during intercourse than she experienced before.  (I am currently 18 months out, having lost 170 lbs.)  Has any male experienced a similar experience?  Is this just my imagination?

Not a guy, but this question comes up at least 4-5x/year on the Sex Before and After WLS board. The guys over there say that with roughly every 50 lbs. you lose, you will gain a 1/2" of length. Hope this helps. I hope you and your wife are both enjoying the fruits of your weight loss!

Hey there,  This issue was actually on Oprah....Dr.Oz said that weight loss in men exposed the penis so actually more of it is available!   Makes sense doen't it?   Anywhoooo good for you and your wife!

My husband has WLS on 08/07/07, and yes I can tell a slight difference.  I commented and he said, yes he had thought it looked larger.   Oh the perks of this surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
