Just discovered Pork Skins
You will be fine eating them, heck while your at it,,,eat some chittlings,,,,they are soaked boiled and then deep fried like potatoe chips...you gotta love southern food my family lives forever,,,,,live a little...and they keep the skin moist and dewey......besides,,,a treat from time to time is called guilty pleasure.....the crackerlings in cornbread is divine too with mustard greens......anytime you need southern recipes..just hollar friend!!
I love them too but they make me sick because of all the grease in them. A lot of recipes including pancakes use them to keep the carbs low.. but I just cant get them in without getting sick from them. I used to eat them all the time, but its just not worth the fat you get from them.
