Any VSG 1 year^ post op?

I am looking for reports from males who are more than one year post op with a vertical sleeve. I am now 8 months post op and down 75 pounds. Any response?

i am female but i wanted to reply. i had vsg w/ a band 16 mos ago, i have lost 115lb and have stayed at that for @ 4 mos

I too am female and just looked on this board for the first time...boy talk about tunnel vision. I am 14 months out and have lost all of my weight about the 10 month mark...still loose a pound or so every few months...I love my VSG!!!

Hi Jesse: A lot of VSGers who are long-term post on the 1st of the month on the VSG board... so you might want to try there. I seem to remember two guys... Rod and Ron. One was in Florida, the other Australia.

Lap-Band June 14, 2001. Dr. Rumbaut, Monterrey, Mexico.
Lap-Band removed after 7 years and converted to Sleeve Gastrectomy on July 7, 2008 by Dr. Roslin. I've had three happy healthy Lap-Band babies.... and one VSG baby. 5 years out from revision to VSG. Gained 55 pounds in past 5 months, now considering DS. :(
