Hey Everyone,  I hope you are enjoying the last nice days before the "W" word....WINTER   One of the things that keep us going and motivated is when we get comments that define WOW MOMENTS...  Once you are as far out as me they just don't happen anymore. Everyone is used to the new you.....So I thought I would share this one with you guys.  To keep you going even if you are as far out as I am.  I have been going to my son's gym to workout with him.  He has lost over 100 pounds in the last year and training for Strong Men contests.  I am so proud of him.  Well.....it was just the two of us as his fiancé had hurt her knee, for several weeks.  When she started working out with us, everyone said "WHO ARE YOU"?  They thought, now are you ready for this?  YEP, THEY THOUGHT I WAS HIS FIANCE'!!!!!!!  OH YEAH, I AM DOING THE HAPPY DANCE!!!  YES, YES, YES,  Oh, he is 29 and I am 52!         I LOVE THIS WEIGHT LOSS THING WE DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it going my friends, it's so worth it!!!  Take care, Kathy 330/128

That sure is some wow moment. I don't blame you for dancing.  What did your son do to lose his excess weight? Did he decide on his own, was he influence by your weight loss. I am hopeing that my two adult children will be able to lose their excess weight before they have medical problems themselves. Sher

Hi Sher, He was in a bad way and as you say it catches up to them.  He was needing a the breathing machine to sleep, he smoked and weighed well over 300 pounds.  He couldn't move, his blood pressure was high and his blood work was a nightmare....and he was only 28 years old. I think seeing his Mom not only lose the weight but the working out at the gym, got him going. I used to talk about how strong I was....  He just told me one day he was joining the gym and he has been working hard for a year now.  His anniversary was  yesterday.  You can be a GREAT inspiration to your kids.... Shame them if you have to  I did!!! Take care, Kathy

Your son is very lucky to have you for inspriation and motivation. And you do look young enough to be his girlfriend instead of his mother!
