OMG, I missed the whole thing, but I'm so sorry you had to go thru that!!! I would be upset with him too~unless he had a really good explanation!!!! I do understand exactly how you were feeling though, as far as the eating goes. I tend to do the same thing.

Hi there, Did you ever find out where he was? I know my husband thinks I'm off the wall on things that really worry me and seem so trivial to him. But, where was he and was it legitimate he not call you? Just wondering because it surely is rude and uncaring of him to do so. Has this happened in the past? Do you tend to keep close tract of him. If so, maybe he's trying to distance for his own sanity. Just a thought. Hope all is calmer with you now. Kids really pick up on this sort of stuff and tend to internalize it A LOT. I hope one of you explained the cir****tances of why he was so late. It's important for them, too. Marilyn
