Well I see great changes in the friday weigh in so you all are doing great.. lets keep these ships sailing and moving towards our goals.. I am proud of all of you..

So how was your day... I took my baby kitty to the vet today and the leg that is gimpy got an xray. this poor little 9 week old kitty has a crushed elbow and it has healed that way. there is nothing we can do for it but she seems to have adapted to the injury.. It's a shame that at such a young life this kitty has endured so much. But she is safe with me now and I will make sure she stays that way.

So here was my day.... yes low.. was at vet forever and missed lunch..

Sorry to hear about your little kitty. I'm a sucker for animals completely. We just got a little beagle that was a Christmas present for a woman..I guess they really weren't ready for a dog because this little girl was 10 months and didn't know her name...That's a big indication there of how she was treated. She was strictly an outdoor dog and not trained at all. Now she sleeps on the bed and comes to her new name...We love our little Candy.

And hubby and I rescue (of all things, you won't believe) hermit crabs. We have 41 one of them so far and have three huge tanks. Long story so I won't get into it but we really are committed to those little guys.

This weekend we're watching our grand cat. My daughter has a thing going on at her house and the cat would make a nuisance of himself so Lucifer came to stay with Gramma for the weekend and harrass the dogs and our other cats. we have a full house.

Friends of ours in the Chicago area rescue abused cats. It's a great thing to do for all animals. Be kind to them, they don't have a choice of what people do to them. They can't fight back. .

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I completely understand the hermit crab thing. People get them and than have no idea what to do with them. they grow bored of them than they want them gone. Reptiles are another one that has this problem. Along with a friend of yours we have saved squirels and all kinds of animals. We do pretty good at finding them homes. We kept this one because we knew it was hurt and because it hide in my car and went for a ride with us. I guess it was destined to become part of our family. I have 4 cats, 3 dogs, a bunny, and two tanks of fish myself. I have had a lot more than that saving animals myself. I dont understand the world and the cruelity there is in it.

Just yesterday there was a report on the news about two woman saving a dog that the owner was drowning because it messed in the house. It's unbelievablel the things people do.

People like you are special cause they save and help our special creatures. I admire that so much. Keep up the good works.. God appreciates those you care for his creatures.

Ended up having a very busy and active day. Spent two hours combing and trimming my dog Bailey. He is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His hair grows just like ours, and grows on every inch of his body, it is very fine and gets matted very easily, needless to say he is not very fond of the procedure. Will need to spend more time another day to finish with a bath and complete haircut. He gets very stressed out(and so do I) so it takes me a few days to complete everything.

After that was cleaning, errands, got car washed and I vacuumed it and cleaned windows. Almost didn't get out of the garage to do anything . a piece of lumber that my husband has in the garage placed so I don't park too close to all his stuff got wedged between my tires. Luckily he was home and was able to tie a rope around it and using his truck pull the wood loose.

Then after dinner the level in our well went to low(We have been in a drought)and we had no water for a while. This hasn't happened to us in several years. Anybody know a rain dance? Will have to be very careful on water usage now till we get a lot more rain, my poor plants are going to dry up.

Could of made a few different choices, especially the bagel and P&J. My grandson was here and when I made his sandwich I couldn't resist. It tasted really good too. But I won't be making it a habit.

See you all tomorrow.

I see there is no added protein in the muffins and your protein is kind of low. That is so cool you have a well. I am attached to all those kinds of things. I bet it does cause a problem if you run low on water. OMG... dh doesnt trust you i see with the parking of the car...lol..

As for the dog.. i know that feeling.. I have to mini poms and they take forever to get brushed out.. Reba is not happy with it at all so it usually takes me a couple of days to get it all brushed out.

Sounds like a busy day for sure.. take it easy tomorrow.. you desire it.

See you than..
