I am 5'5' as well. I tell you.. I have no butt, no boos (which sucks) and no fat on my sagging skin. its pretty sad... thankfully I dont look to bad under the arms and legs as most of my weight was in my stomach. Thats where the sag is mostly. plastic are definitely in my future.

Not a problem at all.. I am exactly where you are with the weight loss thing. I am in i size 0-3 now... I never in a million years thought I would be this small. I always do at least 100 in protein.. usually 120. I dont do serious carbs like bread and stuff. I think it fills me up to fast and I dont get enough in. Check out the accountability board each day. Thats a running tally of what people eat each day who are trying to maintain. I believe more protein is better.

Fitday and sparkpeople have our carb rate much higher than I think we can do it. I dont follow those rules nor do I really see anyone else. It's the protein first rule we all continue to go buy.

Seems like you are doing good on calories.. you may drop at first than it will level off.. the body is gonna do what it wants.. you just gotta do what you do and let it figure itself out.

Good luck and hope to see you on the accountability board.

Carla,  I appreciate your reassurance...I need that. I'll keep after it and up my protein again. I was worried about doing more than 80 grams but it seems to be headed in that direction anyway.  No, I don't/can't do the bread, pasta, rice thing either. Really a tablespoon of that will fill me up more than a cup of salad..So I stay away from that. However, I can do sugar free baked goods if I keep the servings to one a day. I like a sugar free cookie after dinner...Nearly as much as I used to love a huge bowl of ice cream, whipped cream and nuts...Guilty little pleasures I guess. From the package, one is about 1/3 a serving. I don't think I could eat three at one time. And sometimes one is more than I can do too. The dog even likes them, apparently.  I guess I was concerned that this was all in my mind. I guess not. Thank you so much for your reassurance and guidance... Dawn
