plateau diet HELP please
I need to get back to basics and ned a bit of help understanding the plateau diet. What does the protein powder have to be? Does it have to be a certain brand or does any kind count? In one entry I thought that I read that it needed to be Nectar and I am just wondering what type/ brand of protein drink needs to be used. Does it need to be the type that is mixed with milk or water?

Nope it doesn't matter what kind you use. I would think that you can use milk but you'll be adding in some carbs there. I've always just used water with mine as i dont tolerate milk but use what works for you.
It isn't "magic" and you wont fail if you use milk. It's just a purging of carbs and sugar - thus getting your body back on track with proteins. Watch out, after the 10 days, you'll dump easier then you did before, but of course the point is to then not add back in the simple carbs and sugars!!

make sure to get about 80 - 100 , no more than 30 grams at one time or you waste it cause the body wont absorb it all at one time, make sure to get in all your water and not be drinking with meals, also cut out all caffeine beverages - this was very hard for me but it helped also you might want o increase youexercise - you will break that plateua in a few short days !!!
