I think I found them - under the 7 year anniversary pictures? I love your site. I'm going to read everything when I get a chance.

I added some of the pics to my profile here and they're also on the '2007' title on the left hand side of the page of my website.  I think the title is about TEN titles from the bottom so it's pretty far down there!  There's about 25 titles or 'pages' in all!  Let me know if you still can't find it!

I took another gander at your site. I wish I had taken the time to document things like you did. I had a lot of trouble finding "before" pictures. I wasn't too fond of having pictures made at 340 pounds. I have questions for you. I know you had some complications a while after your WLS, and you weren't sure you had made the right decision. How do you feel about that now? I'm 13-1/2 months post-op, and haven't had the first complication. I would like to think I'll stay that way, but every now and then you hear about something happening years down the road. I wonder how common that is. And I know you (and others) have had trouble with maintenance, but you look great - surely the surgery has helped you keep the weight off. I would like to think that you (and the rest of the grads) are happy with the decision to have WLS.

As to whether or not I"m still glad I had the surgery, it would depend on the day you ask me!  I still don't know from day to day whether it will be a good day or a bad one.  I do best when I take all my supplements and only eat proteins, veggies and low fruits and only eat one thing at a time - then I feel normal.  But when I screw up, I can count on it being a bad day in one way or another!

I wish sometimes that I had chosen another route like Jenny Craig or Nutri-systems one more time before giving into surgery, but I do LOVE being much thinner, even though I never got to my goal weight and I'm still the 'fat one' in the family!  LOL!

You look absolutely stunning!  Congratulations!  Keep up the good work and follow the rules and you'll do great!
