I have had small weight gains over the past year, but have found if I work my pouch, the pouch still works for me. So if I get back to basics, cut the carbs and sugar, don't drink with meals, push protein first and exercise I am able to still lose. It takes work and the detox from sugar and carbs once you let them in is rough for a few days, but its well worth it. Good Luck to You!!!!!!!!!!

You can lose the weight again!!  I had RNY 7 years ago and started regaining weight about 3 years post-op until March 2005 when I knew I really had to do something about my 42 pound weight gain.  II still took 2 more years of going back to basics, starting over again, trying fad diets, trying  joining Weigh****chers and going to Curves when I got to the point where "enough is enough"!! This past January, I joined a weight loss competition at my work.  They had a basic common sense approach to lifestyle changes and making wise food choices.  I still go to Curves 3 times a week, take a 2 mile walk twice a week and drink lots of water. I have also changed my eating behaviors without going on a "diet".  So far, I have lost 29 of the 42# I gained.  Please read my latest profile entries and latest posts and be encouraged,  You can do this!!  Good luck and many blessings.
