I am 16 months out and I was contemplating the "plateau buster diet" and had some negative feedback when I asked questions about it, so I decided for now I would really keep track of what I eat and see how I am diong.  I haven't kept track for months and have stalled at 180 for about 2 months now. I started yesterday and found the same thing today:  I am WAY low on my protein.  It is 7:45 my time and still need between 32-42 gr of protein.  And I am FULL!!! I found the same thing after dinner last night and forced a 6 oz container of yogurt with a scoop of powder a few hours later. I try to eat several times a day as my Dr. has recomended, but am having a tough time.  I think this is my problem--not enough protein.  These past couple days, I have not changed my eating habbits--just bein extremely honest on everything I am putting in my mouth.   I am not hungry throughout the day and am forcing myself to eat as it is. Any suggestions??? Thanks for any help!!!

When I have a problem getting all my protein in,,or need to up it a bit,,I go back to protein shakes 1 or 2 a day. And a nighttime before bed I have a protein hot chocolate. I found it makes me feel satisfied longer and I sleep better too. Ya might give it a try! Blessings Betsy

I agree that protein shakes are probably the answer for you since you're having a hard time eating anyway. Good Luck and hope the stall passes soon!

I keep a big jar made up of my own recipe,,dry mix. Heres what I use.. 1 c non fat dry milk powder 1 c powdered non dairy creamer 1 c Body Fortress Choclate Protein Powder (from Walmart, $13.00 big jug!) 1/2 c cocoa powder 1/2 c splenda or any powdered sweetener I use 2 or 3 T per cup of ho****er, sometimes I add a squirt of reddi whip,..its fat free! I use tap water and then put in microwave for about 20-30 seconds before I add the reddi whip. Enjoy Blessings Betsy
