Anyone have a fobi pouch
Have any of you WLS graduates have the fobi pouch? I've noticed there is not much activity on that forum. As you guys might know I am being revised to the RNY. I was wondering if people who had the fobi pouch were having good results and think the ring is on the pouch offers a safety net in case they regain?
I have the Fobi pouch. I had surgery on 6/27/03. My highest weight was 258, I was 250 preop, lowest weight was 122 (too low), I stayed at 125 to 130 for 3 years postop, started to have some regain over the last year, hit a high of 156, and now I am back down to 150, and I hope to lose 15 more pounds. I think the Fobi pouch has definitely made a difference for me and has helped me to be successful. I still cannot eat a lot at any one time. I only drink water and protein drinks, don't drink with my meals, I avoid pasta, bread, and rice. This is easy for me to do because I cannot tolerate them! LOL! They make me throw up! I was able to get back on the weight loss train by upping my protein intake and exercise. I also have increased my calcium intake, and have started magnesium supplements since my level was low. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me. Sorry I did not see your question sooner. I don't visit this site very often any more!
