Well on my continuing saga to get my calories higher each day I feel like I did nothing but eat today...lol... at least going back to work helps me sail my ship a little straighter.. so how did you all do.. this was my day.


Breakfast

Yesterday just after dinner, I realized that I was WAY low on calories! My daughter and I were looking at my numbers. She said, gee mom have somemore ice cream to up it. So I did !!! Then later as I was logging in my final protein drink I realized..... duh, I hadn't put in lunch!!! That's why I was low!  So, I got an extra 100 cals but I went and worked out until I had 101 calories burned... but I also had WAY too many carbs!  b - oatmeal s - protein drink l - small salad, slice of thin crust pizza, VERY small slice of dessert pizza, cheesy bread (see, this can impact the numbers a little)lol  s - 100 cal. ice cream bar d - 3 oz of chicken breast and small piece of corn bread s - 100 cal ice cream bar s - protein drink Totals: NOT INCLUDING LUNCH calories 1102 fat 25 (thrilled with the fat level) carbs 113  (those DARN carbs) Protein 97 (good here) So WITH lunch, I'm sure I actually ate 1500 calories today. YIKES, I don't hardly ever do that.  Well today is a new day!!!!!! I'm not going to get sloppy and forgetful today!!

Lol.. to funny.. I have done the same thing myself so I feel you on that one. still a good day... means your protein was even higher too which is a good thing.

Well, I got higher on Monday. Here was my menu:

B: Nitrotech shake - 45g protein

S: Cheese stick

L: South Beach Diet Chicken Monterey wrap - 19g protein

S: Stallone Pudding - 20g protein

D: 1/2 roast beef sandwich running out the door - 16g protein

S: 1 slice bruschetta pizza (hubby ordered take-out last night) - 5g protein

Totals: 1026 calories, 110g protein, 27 fat and 80 carb.

Carbs were too high, but I did get my calories up!!

Great job.. I know it's hard to get those cals up. I struggle with it too, but I wonder when the day is gonna come I gotta worry about keeping them lower... Scary feeling..

im 3 years out and im starting to be hungry all the time snacking with wrong foods im never satisfied if i ignore it i get the shakes some times not always can someone help me out how do i go to basics i need help fast i do not ever want to be fat again im really worried

The best way I have found to keep control is by monitoring my intake each day. get on sparkepeople or fitday and keep track of what you eat. I tend to not want to eat things that waste the daily calories I can have.

Plan your day out. I plan my entire day in the morning about what I plan to eat for the day. If it's not on the list I dont eat it or I will recalculate my day so it will fit in.

Lastly, I hold myself accountable here. I am the captain of my own ship. I make the choices that are good or bad. I can depend on the ppl here to help me sail that ship down the right path. We support, respond, flame and offer suggestions to stay on track.. This is a great group to have on your side.

So give it a try and see if that will help you move the right way. go back to the basics.. less carbs more protein. keep track of the calories you are getting in and any exercise, and fluids you do for the day.

Good morning, yesterday i was very low on my cals, my protein powder run out on me i was too busy over the weekend to get some but today i will go and get some i need the help. b...protein shake...slimfast, low carb diet...20 g protein. l..beef stew with mixed vegs..about 4oz(total) s..baby carrots. d...wendys side salad(1/2) and 2 chicken nuggets wendys. s.. cup of coffee and 2 cookies drank alot of water. be blessed .
