i'm working now at a store where i have some time in the mornings-early!- to skim thru magazines that i normally don't buy- yesterday- it was "First" and the article about copper overload in women's bodies ( and how it can appear as exhaustion even years later)caught my eye....I have to find my lab results to look but wondered if anyone had any feelings about this???? it suggests taking zinc and alpha lipoic acid to cleanse-  ????????????????????????????????????

Interesting... Does the article suggest where the copper comes from?  I've never heard of copper overload before

I would definitely check your labs before adjusting anything.  In fact, I read a medical journal article in the past several months about copper deficiencies in post-gastric bypass surgery patients due to malabsorption.   I believe it can contribute to peripheral neuropathy. Also, copper isn't something that many doctors test for so it may not be on your labs.  You might want to request it.
