Never eat Popcorn

I made the mistake of eating popcorn yesterday at the movies and I have paid a dear price for it. My pouch has been angry at me since then and I have been miserable.  I will never make that mistake again.  Popcorn is out of my menu from now on.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you're feeling better now! The only problems I have with popcorn is it really does a number on my blood sugar...spikes it, then drops really low...so I don't eat much of it or often..maybe a few pieces...Dede

Did it bloat you, make you poop, or just "stomach stuff"? Try increasing the water intake today (more than usual) to flu**** out.    I'm so fortunate that I don't have issues with pop corn because I love it!  Dianne from FL

do you think it was the popcorn or all of the artifiical junk they use in movie theaters to flavor it?  I treat myself to the Orville Redenbaker light microwave stuff on occassion and it goes down just fine (thankfully)

The popcorn made my pouch hurt, I was so bloated that I had to undo my pants, I swear I looked as if I was pregnant.  I don't know if it was the actual popcorn or the butter that the hubby poured over it, but bottom line is it will never part my  lips again. It feels better today, but is still sore.  I am doing protein shakes till it feels better.

Wow, that's the first time I've heard that popcorn is a problem!  It's been my main treat since surgery 5 years ago.  I love the crunch!  Even my nutritionist says it''s OK, because it just deflates.  I hope you'[re feeling better today!!

I have the popcorn problem too. There is no food on this planet worth that kind of pain. My hubby found "kernel-less" popcorn which I eat without a problem. It isn't really popcorn but it is a nice treat now and then. I will keep my fingers crossed that you never have an issue like that again.  ;-) javafiend size 22w to size 4L and holding...
