sharp muscle pain does anyone else have this?

I have lost most of my fat and only have muscle left and not very much of that.  Lately my muscles have been pulling when I move.  I can feel the spine on the back of my neck and when I turn my nexk there will be an incredible sharp pain which goes away after a few moments but really hurts while it lasts.  My shoulder and arm have sharp pain with movement as well.  Sometimes, I will reach for something and I want to drop with the pain.  Is anyone else experiencing this.  I am almost 1 year out and way below goal  Delynn RNY Oct 23 2006 highest 236 operation 216 now 106  at 5'4"

Hi Delynn! I experience something similar.  I too can feel my spin on the back of my neck and there is a specific spot here that gets a sharp pain every once in awhile.  If my husband touches that spot, it hurts like crazy.  I don't know if it's a muscle or something that is bruising that spot of my spin?  Not sure! Anyway, I don't really get any other muscle pain but that weird spot on my spine hurts from time to time! Deanna  :)

Sounds like time for labs, doc follow up making certain you're getting all the nutrition / vits / mins you need.   When I'm low in B's I experience numbness in my legs, or RLS (restless leg syndrome) & fuzzy thinking. Muscle issues need to be checked out - sooner not later!
