Accountability... what did u eat Thursday
Carla, I am still trying to lose 10 more lbs...so my calories really should be around 1200. 1500 to 1700 is to maintain. B: Coffee / Acai bowl S: 1 oz roast beef L: Shrimp curry S: pita chips/hummus D: baked ziti w/whole wheat noodles/turkey S: ice cream LOVE those CARBS!!! Although today I ate many more "good" carbs...but carbs none the less. Totals: Cal: 1521 Carbs: 197 Fat: 49 Protein: 64
Ahh... yes youre right...If you throw some exercise in you could keep the cals higher and loose.. yeah.. the carbs are high but they were good choice carbs... fat is great.. Im not sure what took you carbs that high in looking at your menu. maybe the pita chips and ziti... but they were healthy.
Just keep working on getting those down a bite and get that protein up a bit and you will see those scales moving.. take care and see you tomorrow..

B eggs with cheese with salsa
L low carb wrap with turkey and light provolone
S- nuts&raisins trail mix
D spaghetti pie( tried to pick out the whole wheat noodles)It is a cooking light recipe
S 4 SF cookies and 100 calorie popcorn
All my water and vitamins forgot the calcium and 1 hour on the eliptical at the YMCA
I need to do a little shopping for the weekend so there are good choices in the house, we have soccer and the usual cleaning and getting ready for the next week.

1 pound ground round( I have used hamburger and turkey)
2 8 0z cans tomato sauce with garlic
2 oz light cream cheese
1 1/2 C light sour cream
1/4 t salt
1/2 t pepper
cooked spagheti enough for 6 servings( I use the whole wheat kind)
1 1/2 C shredded low fat cheese
While the spaghetti water is heating brown your meat with salt and pepper once brown add tomato sauce and boil spaghetti as directed. Simmer the sauce for 20 minutes. Place spaghetti in a casserole dish, mix the cream cheese and sour cream together ( supposed to add 1/4 c green onions, I leave out so my daughter will eat it) spread mixture over hot spaghetti top with sauce and 1 1/2 C low fat shredded cheddar whatever you want cover and bake in a 350 oven for 25 minutes remove cover and bake 5-10 more minutes.
It is a cooking light recipe from years ago but it is a favorite of my daughters, I cook it once a month for her.

Today I was in super Walmart getting my shopping done for the week and I decided to try on some jeans to see if my size had changed and low and behold I got into a size 10! I was amazed since my weight loss has been pretty stagnant. I didn't buy the jeans yet. But when I have some extra money I plan to get a few new things for my fall and winter wardrobe. That was some wow moment for me, can't say I ever wore that size, maybe when I was a kid.

Mc Donalds has low fat ice cream.. i didnt know that.. I made that chicken apple craisen walnut yogurt salad and it was so good... thanks for the recipe.
It's great when you hit those new sizes... I know that made your day.. congrats on that.. sometimes the scale doesnt move you loose inches.. I know I have dropped a few inches when that has happened..
