You're about a month ahead of me. About 3 months ago I felt like I needed to get serious abou****ching what I was eating - I could tell my honeymoon was coming to an end. I went from 155 to 160 because I had been eating stupid little peanut butter crackers at work. I came off the crackers and dropped right back down to 155 in a week. Damn little crackers. There's a good article on sparkpeople.com today about carbs. It pretty much said what you probably already know. We need some carbs for brain function and energy, but we should choose the complex carbs (wheat) over simple (white) carbs. They recommend eating fruit, but they are mostly simple carbs, and they make me hungry as the devil, so I run from them. Some days I do pretty good, and some days I could swallow a horse. I'm rooting for you - you go girl.
Tooter has a lovely page on her site that helps break down carbs into good, better, best, etc. I pass that on when I see someone ask carb questions... The link is
http://bariatricbytes.com/carbs_by_degree.html
and she calls it "carbs by degree." Very easy to help understand what is best...
You are also ALL welcome to join us in the newest round of the mini-challenge (Halloween ending). It has been a good means of accountability on a week to week basis for a lot of folks... You can find out more about the challenges by clicking the link in my sig box. You can go directly to the current roll call post and join by posting your highest/preop weight, your current weight, and your goal you'd like to reach by Halloween... That link is

I admit to eating a bit too many carbs from refined sources... I could probably lose better (still about 50 pounds from my goal) if I really cut back on those sort of carbs!
