I'm nearly 3 years out too. Stuck at 132-135 no matter what I do. I eat at least 6 times a day and concentrate on protein first at each meal. Other than that, I eat whatever I want to eat, but the quantities are less than they used to be. When I'm bad, I'm very bad: brownies, cookies, beer (not together), bagels, pie, ice cream, etc. sometimes a few bad choices in one day. Not every day, but once or twice a week. But no weight gain, just more active bowels (usually not that big a deal for me). I'm more active than I was when I was fat and I often walk for a half an hour, but not daily. I find I'm eating healthier, because that's what appeals to me. I eat more vegetables and lean meats, by choice. That doesn't mean I don't have a handful of french fries or fritos now and then. I eat with my always-thin friends and we usually eat about the same things about the same quantity. I take a dozen vitamins a day, but it's part of my routine now. I check my nutrient levels every 6 months and make adjustments based on that. Nothing that couldn't be fixed with tweaking the regimen. I lost my diabetes but developed hypoglycemia, so I have to keep an eye on that (happens with all WLS to some people). The flatulence is a pain sometimes and embarrassing sometimes, but finding out I was lactose intolerant helped with that somewhat. I've been a size 4/6 for a while now, but that doesn't mean I don't keep a few size 10/12 in my closet, because in the back of my mind I think I'll regain, just like every other diet I was on. But it hasn't happened yet and I'm beginning to trust that it won't happen. The best part is the release from hunger. I don't crave foods or feel that I am starving or feel that I would break down a door to get something to eat.
