Heather, ONE slice of pizza is NOT bad. In fact, I would say it's great!! Didn't you just feel like a "normal" person eating pizza?  We have to have some small indulgences on occasion. Now if you had eaten an entire large pizza, I would say that was pretty bad. Or, if you started with one piece and then ate pizza every day for the next ten weeks, I would say that was not too good. But one piece is NOT bad. And actually, aside from the fat and carbs, Pizza DOES have some nutritional value!! I think you're doing GREAT Heather and I'm very proud of you!!1 Hugs,    Piggy

Thanks Piggy. I have to start realizing that eating like a normal person is okay in moderation. Actually, it probably helped bring up my calorie total too. I'm trying to up it and it's hard.

Hi there Carla!  I think your totals look great!  You know you could even eat more with as active as you are!  You did great! B-- 3/4 cup Special K Protein Plus cereal with 15 raisins and skim milk S-- string cheese L-- leftover lasaga made with ground turkey and whole wheat noodles, 1/2 slice zucchini bread S-- 100 calorie pack and 2 protein balls D-- bacon wrapped chicken, acorn squash Calories:  1243      Carbs:  105    Protein:  85 Deanna  :)

back at you my friend... you did good but could have added a little more.. especially in the protein area. As much as you exercise you gotta keep your cals up. great day over all.... very good choices... do you actually count out your raisins in the moring..lol... Gotta love it..

Well, I am back to not tracking my intake again (or still!! I don't think that 2 days of tracking counts for much!! LOL) But, I'm doing OK. Could be better, but still OK.  Ate chinese food last night and had mostly veggies. Got plenty of protein for sure. I make sure I do that. Actually made myself a protein shake at about 9:00 and could only eat about 1/2 of it. That's a first!!! Hope everyone has a SUPER Labor Day weekend. See you all Tuesday!! Ahhh.. the slipping has begun at least with monitoring what you eat... its ok.. now get that ship sailing.. you can do it.. we are all here for you.. it only takes a couple minutes to stay the course my friend.. you can do it.. now I will see you tomorrow right..

You don't even wanna know what I had yesterday! I was bad!!! It was one of those days when all we did was run! We took the granddaughter to work and went for breakfast at Bob Evans,,that was ok,,I had oatmeal..then we went grocery shopping,,bought all healthy stuff,,then we went yard saling,,that was ok,,I drank a lot of water,,,then we went and visited a friend in the hospital,,,by now, Im starving,,but we got a call from another friend whose car was broke down, so hadda put off supper,,so we went there, and as payment for Mike getting it going they took us out,,for CHINESE!!!!!!! I was so hungry, but I tried to be good,,,I failed! I had mozerrella sticks, crab rangoon, 2 bites of Gen Tso Chicken, 2 bites of fish, a small sugar biscuit and a small dish of ice milk. BUT...I came home and entered it into Fitday,,so I could face the music! I had around 2000 calories yesterday!!! And I wont even mention the sodium content!!! So, today I have been super careful, and really had a workout! So, tomorrow will be better!!!! Till then,,,, Blessings! Betsy

i bet that that crab ragoon tasted good!!!! i know i never realized how many calories in the darn mozzerella stick are, eat three of those bad boys and you have your calorie intake and carb intake that you would have had in a healhty turkey sandwich. but you enjoyed yourself, that's all that matters. you didn't overeat, you just picked the wrong stuff.... =) smile gina
