Its probably because of the low days you had. It is storing up your food. it will break and you will go back down so dont worry.. very good day yesterday so that will make a big difference. dont stress about it.. you're doing great... bad scale...

Here's what I had:

B: Nitrotech shake - 45g protein

S: Cheese stick - 8g protein

L: South Beach Chicken Monterey wrap - 16g protein

S: Sliced chicken w/ LF cheese on a LC 4" wrap - 15g protein

D: (Not very good) 1 slice of pizza at my son's football pictures and party - 7g protein

Totals for the day: 853 calories, 91g protein, 27 fat and 56 carbs.

again you have great choices.. but you still need to get those cals up.. maybe drink and extra shake at night.. I actually eat 6 times a day to get my calories up. I know its hard.. i struggle with it to.. your protein is great. But if you are trying to mantenance you need to get those cals up. good luck. see ya tomorrow.

I thought about trying another shake, but if my protein goes too high, then I get severly constipated. I'm getting better, where do you think I should be? Around 1000 calories?

well.. i dont know how much you exercise but I know to maintain you should be at least in the 1200 area.. strange thing with me is when I went up to start maintaining with my calories.. add the calories actually caused me to loose more weight.. my body was in starvation mode and when I gave it more it let go of more pounds... but yes.. if you dont do a lot of exercise at least 1200 if you exercise maybe more.. you gotta kind of play with it and see what your body wants.

now, don't go and say that a slice of pizza is not very good. I'm going to the pizza buffet for lunch today. LOL I admit I mostly eat the salad bar, cottage cheese and stuff. I will have one slice of thin crust pizza but I don't feel bad about it at all.  Your protein in great, carbs are down... I'd just enjoy the pizza and go on.  HUGS

i want pizzzzzza so bad, the hospital where i work makes personal pans, but they are up in 700 calorie range. so i stear away. it's good for you if they put the right stuff on it. gina

I buy wheat pitas and we make our own personal pizzas at home. It sooo much better for ya. I can only eat 1/2 of one, but the kids have fun loading it up with whatever toppings they want.

Thanks, it's hard to get my mind used to the fact that at this stage I can be "normal". I get so afraid of carbs that I overcompensate the wrong way. I'm trying to find ways of bringing up my calories and it's so hard. If I try to eat a 6th meal, then I'm eating as I go to bed, which I don't want to do. I've got to try eating more foods with higher calories. I'm just having a hard time finding ones that aren't high in carbs or fat at the same time.

I'll get there - it's a lifelong process.
