WEll the weekend is here... I know we are all gonna be busy and having fun. Gotta love it.. so how did you do today.. lets take a look

B- protein drink

S- protein bar and banana

L- Shrimp Louie with out the dressing

D- fajitas beef and chicken

S- ice cream and pretzels.

Totals- calories....1,226, carbs.... 115, fat.... 43, protein....106

drank a ton so no problems there...

Not exactly a stellar day:

Breakfast on the run:

Four marshmallows and a Red Baron Personal Pepperoni Pizza


Lunch:

Wendy's Classic Single w/Cheese, Chili with Cheese and Iced Tea (with sweet & low)


Late afternoon snack: (about 4pm)

1 chili cheese dog and a handful of Hot Tamales from the vending machine


2nd snack: (about 6pm)

diet Sprite, half of a protein bar, and another 5 marshmallows

Dinner (around midnight):

Chicken and tortellini in a garlic hazlenut sauce , plus a handful of pickled items (carrots, pickles, sausage, olives, etc), and two sections of bread (probably equal to 2/3 of a slice of bread) - more Iced Tea

Split a whipped cheesecake w/raspberry compote for dessert

When you mean on the run ... u mean on the run...lol.. wow you had a very long day. Had to chuckle at the marshmallows.. bet they were REAL filling... hehehe.. I do a lot of traveling for work and I carry a little ice chest on those days and it works out great. I will put my protein bar and balls in there.. drinks and some kind of meal even if I dont have time to make it I will grab a can of chicken or tuna and eat that. It works well plus I dont like stopping at fast food places or around some of the areas I have to drive through once in a while.

not such a bad day... xecept for the chips b: scrambled eggs with 2 strips of bacon topped with 1 tbs salsa  336 calories 5 carbs 21 protein s: safeway brand protein drink  170 calories 12 carbs (4 fiber and 6 sugar alcohols) 2 net carbs and 20 grams protein s: 2:30 p.m xtra flamming hot cheetos 1 o.z (not the whole bag)  170 calories 15 carbs 2 protein wafer bars 100 calories 12 carbs 1 protein d: 1/2 hamburger patty with tomatoe and red onions, no bread s: quiche with chicken, carrots, peas and spinach... 1/2 slice

Well, I don't have a clue how to figure out numbers on this stuff but here's what I ate.  B - oatmeal S - protein drink L - Mazzios lunch buffet, salad, cottage cheese 1 thin crust slice of pizza with ham and pineapple, dessert bread D - one chicken breast, 1/4 loaded baked potato (mostly ate the "loaded" part), cole slaw, and a handful of bites of dh's dessert For a day out and eatting out twice it was pretty good.  Laurie

yeah eating out and figuring things out can be a challenge for sure. Looking at it you still did a good job. buffets can be killer.. I actually have a food group set up for hometown buffet.. I know exactly what I will eat there. my kids love the place..lol.. so after a few trips there I made a food grouping on sparkpeople for it..

Now that is bad.. right.. Hey does pinapple or orange bother you. I was told we could never eat them. is that true.. i sure miss orange juice a lot. Something about the acid in it or something.. oh well..

I can eat pineapple in salads or on pizza just fine. I don't care for oranges as I have skin allergy to them, but I do drink diluted oj (about 1/2 and 1/2).  I did have some mandrian oranges in a salad today and that worked just fine for me.  I do pretty good at buttets because I only eat a plate of food. they actually make money off me now!!! LOL  I think I had a pretty good day yesterday!! I'm happy with it so that's what matters.  Laurie
