Ok Gang, let's get going!!! I sounds like a "drill sargeant" don't I?  LOL  I guess that's what those "exercise videos" will do for you!!  Anyway, I did walk 1 mile to a video this morning, I had a healthy breakfast and I am currently resisting the urge to eat a PowerBar!!!  :o)  I also brought a Lean Cuisine meal for lunch (I found a gluten-free one) and have some lite yogurt with me to have for snacks. What are you doing right so far? Let us know!!! Hugs,  Piggy

I have already drank 40 ounces of water along with my 4 cups of coffee!  I have worn a path in the carpet from my office to the bathroom!  I packed a LC lunch and yogurt too!  I am currently resisting the 180 calorie bottles of Starbucks Mocha Frap that are in the office fridge.  Before I left for work today, I put tilapia filets in the fridge to defrost for dinner.  I have been doing so well the past week I am really proud of myself and I am down 2 pounds!  Once I get in a roll it's easy to keep up.  I am going to the gym again today after work, this will be 4 days in a row!  Oh and I have been taking iron every day for 2 weeks (along with my multi) and I feel like a whole new woman.  This is a great thread, instead of focusing on what I haven't done or am not doing, it's a positive post!  Thanks!

WoooooooHoooooooo. You sound Well-hydrated!! I can "relate" to the path!! I know my co-workers must think I  have the tiniest bladder of anyone they've ever seen!! haha And a LC and yogurt for lunch--Do GREAT MINDS run in the same vein, or what? Sounds like you've got everything planned out and I BELIEVE that you can continue to resist the Starbucks!!! I love that stuff too, so I can feel for you! I still haven't eaten that powerbar yet, so I am hanging in there with you. Sooooooo glad you decided to join in this thread. It's been VERY motivational for me. Hugs,  Piggy

Thanks for the pep talk Sheila. I love this support board too. I think it's REALLY helping me. Good for you in "planning". I think that is one of the keys for me.  Don't stress too much about the weigh in and let us know how it goes. All that exercise is GREAT too. I am sooooo proud of "us"!! Hugs,  Piggy

Piggy! I want to thank you so much for letting me know about the book "Life is Hard, food is easy."  I am a horrible emotional eater.  I actually see a therapist for this.  I have only had time to read the first hundred pages or so, but I have been able to put what I have learned to use and so far today I HAVE STUCK TO MY EATING PLAN and I don't feel cheated or hungry or anything!!  I feel great. I stuck to my eating plan. I did some quick grocery shopping at lunchtime and avoided all the aisles with the bad stuff. I made time to have lunch with my hubby and child (who is home from school today with a virus.) I'm drinking tons of water. Because I am feeling good physically and emotionally today, I have tons of energy and am getting through my pile of work with little stress. I have plans for a good cardio workout later and a pampering pedicure as a reward. ;) Kathy
