DIDN'T SEE THIS THREAD STARTED SO I THOUGHT GO FOR IT!  TODAY I AM TRACKING INTAKE AND BIKING 5 MILES AS SOON AS I'M DONE POSTING.  I ALWAYS LACK SUPPORT ON THE WEEKENDS SO I WILL TRY AND READ THE POSTS THAT COME FROM ALL YOU OUT THERE.  SOME OF US ARE STRUGGLING WITH A REGAIN AND NEED SUPPORT SOME ARE JUST GOING ON.  WE NEED TO BE THERE FOR EACH OTHER SO WE CAN ALL REACH OUR GOALS.  HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND AND KEEP WITH THE PROGRAM!!  SHEILA

i did something good today, i took the stairs... but i stopped and looked at the elevator and stairs twice b4 i decided to take them, i guess it was habit... =) smile, have a good day

Good for you!  i am trying to make the stairs a habit.  the elevator is tempting tho!!!!

Choosing the stairs over the elevator is a GREAT choice. Those "little" things REALLY do add up. Do you wear a pedometer? I began wearing one before my surgery and I just LOVE it.  It keeps up with how many steps a day I make. I am for 10,000 or more daily. I don't always make it, but just having it own motivates me to move more. When I forget to wear it, I have to force myself to remember that the steps STILL count even though I am not counting the steps!!  I know that sounds silly and simplistic, but it works for me!! Good for you to get things going. I've been busy here at work today and haven't had time to post! So glad that you all think it worth continuing!! I started with a healthy breakfast--1egg scrambled with cheese and one slice of turkey bacon . Then I had lite yogurt for my snack and will have some leftover pulled pork and a tablespoon of potato salad for lunch. I read a children's book to a co-workers four year old. I am wearing my new Curves Tennis Shoes with the "rocker bottom" which is supposed to tone your calves and thighs while you walk    :0) I am drinking water. Hope you all have a GREAT weekend. I won't be at my computer, but would love to see one of you continue the thread for Saturday and Sunday!!!   You all are  the BEST!!!! Hugs,  Piggy

You are a very inspiring person.  Keep up the good job  over the weekend also.  It is taking a long time for my head toget all the right habits i need to have to keep the weight off.  Sheila

Thanks for the kind words. Guess You'll have to continue the thread for the weekend since I won't have access to a computer. Thanks for your ALWAYS kind words Tami.  Sorry I won't get to be here this weekend, but you are right, I WILL be here in Spirit!!! The Cruves Tennis Shoes are avaialable from Avon. They are $39.99 (which I thought was not too bad a price for tennies!!) and I just love them. I have been wearing the "rocker" sandals all summer and love them too.  They take a little getting used to, but they are VERY comfortable!! If you have a local Avon dealer you can contact her, if not contact me. I just "happen" to sell Avon and will order some and ship them to you!!    :o)
