Good for You Tracy!! Five miles is a LONG way when you don't feel like it!! I'm thinking of making myself little signs to post that say  "Just do it". I'm not sure that would motivate me, but it wouldn't hurt anything!!! I'm so proud of you!!  Hugs,  Piggy

What I have done right today?  Ok, well I did go for my run this morning.  I got all these patient charts off my desk finally. (I had gotten about oh I don't know, like 5 days behind)  I did not have a tantrum when I discovered a science project growing in the back of the fridge that after asking I found belongs to "no one" in the entire house.  And that is about all for me today.   Not bad, not bad...however, "Tommorow is another day."    Traci 303/131

Sounds to me like you've had a GREAT day.  Isn't it amazing when things just "appear" in the fridge? I have "no idea" where that kind of stuff comes from!! LOL  Good for you for not having a tantrum or "killing'" anyone!!!

Ooh, can I join in? I went running this AM, and Monday AM. I want to go every day since I've stopped the gym. I just still dont' like people watching me while I work out, so the running early in the AM works nicely for me. Its also good time alone w/ myself to think. Going through some stuff now. I did do some upper body on my husband's total gym last night. I also got organized at work, now I need to get off this website and start my phone screens. :) jess

Come on in Girly!!  I cannot even begin to imagine Running!!! Of course, I'm "slightly" older than you and running would just NOT be pretty for me, but I am impressed that you are doing it and that you "want" to do it. That's quite an accomplishment in itself!!  LOL  Upper body stuff sounds GREAT too. You will be too buff for words if you keep all of this up!!          Hugs,    Piggy

I planned my food for the day and have stuck with the plan.   I went to the gym at lunch and lifted weights.   I'm going back to the gym in a few minutes to do cardio.   I've had about 95 grams of protein, and will get another 30-40 grams at dinner.   That's all I can think of for now!!! Kellie

I have been reading everyone's posts on this thread and decided to join  in We all need to be more positive. Only talking about the negative begets negative.  Positive talk will reinforce positive behavior. Today I got up early and got in  my exercise routine on my tredmill. I had adequate protien intake today. I visited some elderly relatives and brought them fresh  blueberries that I picked. I tracked my intake on spark people. I went to lunch with my co-workers who usually give me a hard time about my eating and I picked all the right thing. A portion of a lunch cobb salad and I even had the dressing changed to low cal italian. I didnt let them bother me about it either... whoo hoo.
