Good morning all.. Hope your day went well. I had a busy day at work but a good day for food over all.. So how are we all doing... is our ship up and sailing forward.

B- Protein shake

S- protein bar

L- carna sada with some cheese

S- fruit salad

D- salad with some chicken, cheese.

S- protein balls and a plum

total calories...1,337, carbs.... 75, fat.... 57, protein... 133

drank a lot as well.. cali is pretty hot right now and drinking is not an option. over 120 oz of fluid.

Trying to change it up a little.. get rid of the ice cream thing every night.. it's becoming a slippery slope for me so I am going to try and do other things besides that and look for other options for the protein snacks. Guess I will have to see how it goes.. Have a great day..

Good morning! It's been warm here too, and unfortunately, it makes it even harder for me to eat alot of protein(all I want then is fruit and veggies, something cold)..However, I whipped up tuna salad the other day for emergencies like that! All in all, it's been a good couple of days for me eating wise, so I'm soooo happy to post on here! Good luck on trying to lose the ice cream monster...it is so hard!!! Have a great day! Dede

You're doing such a good job at getting those calories and protein up. Keep up the good work. I agree with you. It's harder to do protein when it's so hot. I just want fruit and salad all the time, but know i gotta get it in. I am doing a lot of cold chicken salad as well.. and I am on day two with no ice cream...lol.. i can do this

I had a good day again.  2 days in a row.  Although I am still very remorseful over my hiatus.  It's going to take so long to battle those lbs back off.  I'm so sick of sabotaging myself and never getting anywhere.  2 steps forward - 3 steps back - 3 steps forward - 2 steps back.  I always seem to end up in the same place.  It's such a roller coaster. Anywho.  Where is Alesia?  Any word from her?  I hope she isn't lost at sea - let's put on our search lights and see if we can bring her back home.  And Deanna?  Where are you my friend?? Here is my day yesterday.

Did serious grocery shopping.  My hiatus left me fridge/pantry sad and neglected.  Barron of all my fruits & veggies.  So that took up most of my evening after dinner.  I organized the fridge and pantry when we got back.  It's so nice to have some energy.   Carla - I wanted to point out my night time snack to you - the turkey cheese rollup.  It is SO YUMMY.  A far cry from ice cream - since it's not a sweet treat - but very protein rich and low carb.  I use a low carb tortilla.  Spread a thin layer of garden veggie cream cheese (lowfat) - then put in one peice of 2% cheese slice and one slice FF Turkey lunch meat.  Roll it like a cigar.  YUM YUM YUM.  Mine is 170 cals and 14 grams of protein.  And very very filling.  Could easily be a light meal. And those orea 100 cal bars.  Holy crap.  I'm not all that into the 100 cal stuff.  I think it is overpriced and no different then the regular stuff - just portion control.  Wel lthose are GOOOOOOOOOD. I was at the high end of my points but I was over 100 oz water and 132 g protein.  So no complaints :)

That does sound good. I am having a problem with wanting something more substaintal right now.. all these little protein drniks, bars and balls topped off with ice cream.. my tummy just wants more at night.. I agree.. i do need something more like that.. Think I will give it a try.. thanks for the suggestion.

My tough times seem to be before lunch and after dinner. There just isnt anything holding me with some substance.

You did great today.. keep up the good work.. two days will lead to more good days and you are ready.. go girl

good morning everybody, i did pretty good yesterday.  b: slim fast low carb vanilla creme shake 180 calories 2 carbs 20 grams protein and a red apple 35 calories 6 grams of carbs s: 2 handfulls of trail mix (planters sweet & nutty), yes the one with the raisins and m&m's l: chicken pasta w/ garlic and mushrooms (hospital food, again).... took 15-20 bites and i was done.... oh yeah and a bite of my breadstick, only 1 bite... yay s: pop corn (yeah i know, not upossed to eat it) better than a bag of chips the whole bag is only about 2 oz and 135 calories total, shared w/ a friend at school d: slim fast low carb vanilla creme shake 180 calories 2 carbs 20 grams protein and a 1/2 a peanut butter jelly sandwich, shared w/ da baby.

Looks like a great over all day. I love popcorn too but know its a no no. I try to not eat it but if i go to a movie, i just cant help myself. I do eat it really slowly and chew it to death..

keep up the good work..and your pic looks great.

i know i just can't help myself.... lol it's filling to me and i chew it really good.  i get the ranch flavor, it's awesome and since i found it, i can't stop. i ony eat it now and then

Hello there Carla! Here is my day yesterday: B-- 1 slice whole wheat toast, 1 scrambled eggs, strawberries S after gym-- 1 banana with peanut butter L-- 1/2 ham and cheese on whole wheat, 1/2 serving Sun Chips, strawberries S-- none D-- bacon wrapped chicken S-- very small piece of white cake Calories:  1185       Carbs:  124       Protein:  55 Ugh, I'm no where near what I should have been!  After I ate lunch yesterday I just wasn't hungry and I was so busy that I didn't get my protein shake in.  There are just days when I have no desire to eat and trying to get protein in is a chore!  I know, excuses, excuses! Exercise: I went to the gym and did 45 minutes of strength training coupled with running stairs in between exercises.  Then I put in 30 minutes on the treadmill at a steep incline. Deanna
