Serious Question Here! (No Kidding!)

Okay, folks.  This is NOT JoAnn--it is her evil, stink-free twin here with a question....................... I guess she should be thankful if this is her worst WLS complaint, but she stinks....I mean it.....She stinks.  It doesn't matter what she eats, she gets BAAAAADDDDDDDDDDD gas.  EVERY day.  She asked her PCP about it yesterday, and he just laughed and said to take Gas-X.  Trust me....she should own stock in the company, but it doesn't help, even with the chewables. She is about to get kicked out of her house.  Hell, the DOGS don't even want to be around her! Any ideas???  Naturally, she is terribly embarrassed about this problem.. Hi Evil Twin! I answered you on another board as well, but try googling Devrom.  It is an internal deodorant, that neutralizes odor in stools and gas!   Good luck!  DeeAnn

Probiotics, I buy at the Vitamin Store by my house. Still have the gas but no odor most of the time. 1 capsule a day does it for me.

I ordered some, too.  I've often said that my gas can melt the paint off a freight train!  It's bad when you get to where you are afraid to go anywhere or cancel plans because the gas is acting up even worse than usual. Becky

Acidophilus -- otherwise known as probiotics. Take daily. Devrom is not something I'd want to take daily.  Somewhere I along time ago I read an article that said it had something in it -- can't remember what -- that was not good for you long term. Good luck! Deb
