I made some today and instead of the oats I used crushed Special K cereal....but, now I have no idea how on earth to plug it into fitday.com....here's the recipe, if that helps...I only make half batches at a time, but while I'm asking...does anyone know if it is possible to freeze protein balls? Thanks in advance! 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup protein powder 1/2 to 3/4 cup crushed Special K cereal This recipe made 9 good sized balls..

Try http://www.calorie-count.com/ You can type in the ingredients and analyze a recipe. Then you can create a custom food for it in fitday. You might have to search for the protein powder you use, but it's pretty accurate and will get you close enough to your total calorie count.

Deidre~ I froze mine....it was kind of like eating a Reese's peanut butter cup.  Do you put the splenda in that the recipe called for? I am going to try it with the Special K soy protein flakes.  I am interested to see how the texture changes.  I do like them with the oats though. Enjoy! Anjanette

Anjanette, I didn't put the splenda in like most recipes call for, I tasted it before shaping into the balls and it was sweet enough without it for me...I really, really like the texture with the Special K! Dede

This looks like a very interesting recipe to try - thanks for posting it!  I'm going to also add some ground flaxseed into the mix too.  Worth a try. -Carol
