hey  Alesia, no sunday was not a typical day for me. if you go to my page you can see what my new typical days are as of 08/01. for some odd reason i had no appetite, if i didn't eat that then i probably won't have eaten anything. i am reborn (again) as of 08/01/2007 and trying again to loose the weight i have gained from pregnancies. everyone here keeps me motivated.

Thanks for replying back Gina, I'm happy to hear this is not typical for you and I did go and look over your site after I responded to your post...Congratulations on getting back on the band wagon and experiencing "rebirth" of the pouch, it is a wonderful tool and I know you will succeed in revitalizing it again to attain your goal...You are a wise woman to realize where you are and know that you can still work the great gift this tool is, to your advantage and lose the extra pounds of baby fat you picked up when you were carrying those 2 precious children... Keep posting with us...We would love to have you and taking account of the food you eat is another great way to work your tool to the best advantage...  Alesia

I'm here.. went to the doc today and he gave me back my infusion of remecade and gave me a infusion of cortisone for the pain.. starting to feel better already. He says should be back to normal within a few days.. I am so happy. Its been a tough few weeks for me without my treatment.

B- protein shake

S- protein bar

L- chicken with salad

S- 1 protein ball

D- steak, yam and some salad..

S- ice cream

Totals calories...1,256, carbs.... 77, fat..... 50, protein.... 125

good day.. and got 120 oz of fluid in...

Hey listen.. do you hear it.. the sound of silence.. no kids... heaven.. I'm in heaven..

K gonna go rest... my infusion makes me tired.. see youall later.

Hi Carla, Ah yes, I can hear the calm, isn't it lovely ...Know someone else who get cortisone and is also very pleased with the results at least until it wears off and they have to wait for the next one, that has got to be really tough... You did indeed have a really outstanding day, doesn't that feel good too...Keep up the great job you are doing, take care and take it slow getting back into heavy exercise... See ya tomorrow...Alesia

The hope is the remecade will kick in by the time the cortisone wears off. docs says I should be back to my old self in the next couple of days.. already feeling better now...

Ooops!  I accidentally posted this under Saturday: B- 2-100 cal Chex mix S-Quaker Granola Bites L- one fish taco all the insides, (1/2 the tortilla) 1c chicken soup (only chicken veggies, broth) S- 100 cal/ snsck size FF popcorn S- 1c strawberries, 1/4c blueberries, 2 tbsp FF coolwhip  S- 5 FF thin turkeybreast slices spread w/ 1tsp (total for all 5 slices) FF cream cheese and 1tsp chives D- 1/2c 5 cheese lasagna, 1 (1 oz.) slice fresh french bread, 1/2c salad w/ 1 tbsp FF dress. S- 1/4c banana mixed w/ 1/4 c Vanilla ice cream 3amS: 2 SF/Fiber/protein enriched slices of toast w/ 1 tsp cinnamon/splenda sprinkled on top Totals: Cals 1481/ Fat 41/ Carbs 180/ Protein 74 I did terribly w/ my snacking...I had lunch at 11am and did not eat dinner until 9pm so I was snacking throughout the day and I knew we were having a big dinner/dessert!!!! Plus I know aunt flo will be visting tomorrow so the urge to snack was bound to happen for me!!! Oh well today will be better!!!

Hello Amy, Boy do I know about the call of "aunt flo" also my favorite snacking buddy, almost guaranteed to produce the call of bad habits coming out of the woodwork, for sure at least a daily dose of chocolate, usually the real kind...I think you handled it all very well - cals in a good range, fat low, protein , even the carbs were not the worst to be had...Just remind yourself, tomorrow is another day, another chance to get back on the right track... I have gotten to see my sister for the first time in a year. She said she had a hard time recognizing me! That was about it. When I told her what I weighed she said it was less than her. I think that was almost inconceiveable to her as she has always been the sibling who has maintained a "normal weight" and I have always been the one with the weight problem. I will have to wait and see what else she says, she could be just in shock.

Had a good day even with bringing my DH for two medical appointments that took about 6 hours counting travel time and waiting and waiting.
He is coming along well after his surgery.
