Hello Anjanette! You did great ... you deserve a piece of pizza once in awhile! I like to go to this little place that sells pizza by the slice. That way I can satisfy my craving and I am limited to one slice! Yum! And there are no leftovers to take home to tempt me! I get my Body Fortress protein powder at Walmart. The chocolate is good and that is what I use for my drinks and I also use it in the protein ball recipe too. It's only $12-something for a big jug of it! Deanna :)

Hi Anjanette, I'm with Deanna, don't sweat the pizza just keep reminding yourself that it is a trigger and choose to eat it under wise cir****tances...You had a day of really awesome choices, don't see anything here to shake my head at...
I reposted the shake recipe to someone else on the board here today, so just come back on and look for it...It does taste really good and has been a staple (with minor variations) of my food plan since about 6 months post op...

Hey Deanna, Two observations : all that exercise is bound to keep showing out on the scale even with the maniac food cravings and also, I find, that it actually takes about 2 days for my scales to reflect excess eating days - in otherwords when I go overboard I usually do not see it reflected in scale numbers until 2 days later ( weird but that's how it seems to go for me )... Glad you're getting back onto a menu plan, I know you will feel better about your food choices soon...
See ya tomorrow... Alesia

Hi De, Sorry to hear you are struggling with food, have you talked to Dr. Way or has this only been going on for a few day? Maybe its just a matter of chewing it better or choosing a softer cut of meat ( I always go for filet or prime rib when I eat steak and I cook all my meat only until it just barely done to keep it juicy)...You still managed to get in decent protein numbers even with the low cal count, so that is good...Keep working on it and bring it up at the support group meeting next week, you might get good feedback from one of the others...
See ya... Alesia
