Woe is me!!! ....
Oh yeah, I would definitely say your caloric intake is too low. I exercise alot and I maintain pretty nicely if I keep mine at around 1800-2000 daily. If I need to drop a few pounds then I cut back to 1500-1600 for a short time until the weight is off~then its back up again. I also needed to make sure I incorporated some good carbs into my diet daily b/c I wasn't giving my body enough fuel to burn when working out so much. Its all such a trial and error game so try bumping it up a bit and see what happens~I bet within a week of trying it you'll start dropping again~although it got slower for me after the 1yr mark, the scale still moved (moves) downward when I really work at it. Good Luck and keep us posted!

Tracy, I just absolutely LOVE your hair!!! You are so beautiful!
Thanks so much for sharing with me your caloric needs. That helps me put things in perspective! It's just such a scary thing to actually need to eat more when all my life I've tried to eat less! I guess I need to find that fine line somewhere!
Thanks again!
Deanna :)

I agree with the folks, including your nut, who suggest that you need to bump up your calories. Right now, I weigh about 201 and I'm a regular exerciser (50-60 minutes of cardio 4-5x per week, lift weights for upper & lower body 2-3x per week). I recently had my resting metabolism tested and it's right around 2,000. That means that at my current weight and muscle mass, I need at least 2,000 calories a day to meet my body's minimum needs. If I'm exercising, which I am, I need more calories to maintain. Most days, I eat between 2,000-2,200 calories and I'm still losing about 4-5 pounds per month.
If you're really afraid about increasing your calorie intake, do it slowly by adding 100-200 calories a day for a week or so and see what happens. I wouldn't be surprised if you started to lose again.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

Hi Kellie!
Thank YOU! My nut told me about the same thing when they tested my body fat. That I could maintain at 2000-2200 calories a day without exercise. So in my head I know I should be eating more since I'm exercising hard. It just seems sooooo weird to me that I should actually eat MORE! I'm so afraid to go off the deep end if I start eating ... I don't want to ever go back to the way I was before surgery!
I think I will try increasing a bit and see what happens. Thanks again for your help!
