Did You Move To Lose Today?
Hey Everyone,
It's interesting.....it seems my emotional eating is back!!! My DH has been out of work since last November. We are "out of money". There is not enough in the old bank account to pay bills. He had 3 good job
opportunities that came down to him and one other person and he lost out on all three.
I just ate all the wrong things today and I feel like Shi$ and was so Blah...I didn't feel like exercising... Great lesson learned....if the food was suppose to make me feel better it didn't work. So tomorrow back on track and back to the gym to work off that stress in a better way. No matter how far out we get and no matter how good we are... WE ALL FALL OFF THE WAGON and it's ok.... I am beating myself up but in a come on Kathy, learn kinda way. I asked myself did I feel better when I ate that chocolate chip cookie? NOPE....did it solve my money problems? NOPE... Did it help my stress level by not going to the gym? HE$$ NO!!! Oh and I ate more than one cookie my friends So my friends.....Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today? Good I hope so, and don't beat yourself up if you didn't....just have a long talk with yourself and get back to what works... One thing is strange. I do remember feeling better in the old days after eating that macaroni and cheese, that cheese burger and chocolate.....not now....hmmmmmm Come on in and show me how it's done my friends!!!! Stay Strong, Sexy and Sassy..... Take care, KathyHW:330 - GW:150 - MW:118-125

I work out 5 days a week. And you know what, I feel guilty when I dont work out the other 2.
Here is this great workout I found in my favorite mag, Fitness. Its great way to get either (1) in shape) or in better shape: 8 Weeks to Your First Mini Triathlon: Beginner Plan!1!!
It incorporates running/walking, swimming, biking and strength training. TRY IT!

Hey Kath ... you know, people always look at me like I'm green when I tell them surgery was the easy part! This is and will most likely be a lifelong struggle for most of us ... I'm glad we've got one another to at least empathize and help each other through.
Call me, ok? Love ya,
Karyn
Oh yeah ... last night a group from work had a dinner -- now, I would normally just pull up to valet parking (it was in the city), but I purposely parked about 8 or 9 blocks away (ok, ok, I saved $9 by parking at a meter too) ... but sometimes these little things have a bigger payoff!

Yea, I know the hard part is to come for sure! And you are right.. all those little things add up. And saving money too. Now that is a great example of inspiration. LOL
I will call soon, been busy with getting ready for the insurance dude to come out for the flood damage.
Love ya,
Kathy

Hi Kathy!
You are so right ... getting back to the gym and using exercise to vent your frustrations will really help! I really didn't want to go to the gym yesterday because I had the major "blahs" but I forced myself to go and I felt sooooo much better afterwards! You can do it!
Yesterday I went to the gym for my weekly 10 minute tanning session ... this is heaven for me! Then I did full-body strength training for 40 minutes. Then I ran on the treadmill at 6 mph for 1.50 miles. Then I walked for another mile. My knee was giving out on me otherwise I would have gone for more running miles!
