Hi Dede, I think this looks like an excellent plan to get in protein via solid food products rather than milk or protein type drinks...Don't get me wrong, I still drink a minimum of one protein drink everyday, sometimes more, but I also feel that I need protein in solid format or else I start getting the urge to graze even though I am not physically hungery... Keep up the good work...See ya later...Alesia

Hello Carla, For someone traveling and eating on the go, you are doing an outstanding job...I have noticed you have less meals that appear to have been bought @ fast food, which is a frequent alternative for people on the road alot for their jobs or lifestyles... Think making the effort to pack and travel with a cooler is an investment which will pay off in continued maintenance because no matter how well you choose of a fast food menu, I truly believe you do better eating stuff made at home that you know what went into it...So if you end up filling out the travel time with protein drinks and bars and bring along healthy options from home you are ultimately only helping yourself... Great job...Give yourself a pat on the back  Alesia

Very true.. I use to stop and get fast food but not any more.. I make my lunch and put it in a cooler.. besides that I travel a lot to down town LA and I am not so sure I like pulling over to get food in some of the areas. lol.. if you know what i mean.. I have driven more than once over the intersections where all the people were hurt and killed in the riots... I prefer keeping staying on the inside of a locked car and moving down the road..lol.. plus with the protein bars and taking stuff I know I will be making good choices all day.... I can eat at my scheduled times and make good choices at the same time.

Hey Denise, I know what you mean about eating the same things and getting boring, its why I'm always on the prowl for new recipies and also why I sometimes go a little crazy cooking on the weekends, trying to get a couple of options pre-made to be part of my diet, some of it packs up well for freezing and some doesn't , but for me variety is the spice of life... Planning this weekend to try 2 new recipies, one a main dish that will provide meals for the next several weeks and 1 a dessert which I will eat 2 or 3 servings of and my DH & boys will end up finishing off the rest, luckily for me they are not picky about eating my sf desserts ( of course this isn't always a good thing, cause sometimes I really don't feeling like sharing  ) Your day looked fantastic, awesome job on keeping the cals pretty low and bumping up the protein, I try for the same, but frequently do not succeed too well... Wow Anita, Your day sound yummo and you did good too, time for a pat on the back...It sure helps to have tools like sparkpeople to help figure out just what you are getting into when it comes to making new stuff - I always try to remind myself on new recipes (especially the desserts ) no sugar does not mean no/low cals, but I like my goodies, so I find a way to fit them in ... Have a great evening, see ya tomorrow...Alesia
