Accountability - What did you eat, Monday 7/23?

Hey you are working your program the best you can right? So don't beat yourself up, afterall you are NOT a new post-op, it is to be expected that you will not eat like one...You ARE doing good getting in your protein and keeping the cals in a good range too...Significant others, BF, can really be a challenge to our new lifestyle, I know I fall off the wagon just about every time I go out with my DH for dinner I end up having 1 or 2 of the hotwings (he orders them EVERYWHERE we go if they are on the menu), I just know that some of the choices I make are tied to the things he does, I accept that and try to make the best of the rest, so to speak...
Good Luck, you will make it too...Just keep taking account, report in here if you want or log it in on paper at home, accounting is the best way, as far as I am concerned, to stop the madness BEFORE it gets out of hand...

That real life stuff can get in the way..lol.. no worries I will wait patiently for you to post each day. You are the bright spot of my day each day and I thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to be there for me and everyone else here. You make a difference...
Yesterday was an ok day.. still not getting enough in and I ate something that seems to be a little stuck and giving me that heartburn thing.. I just hate that... I hope it passes soon.
b- Protein shake
S- protein bar
L- stea**** with some cheese
S- protein balls 2
D- chicken with salad
S- ice cream.. I am actually getting bored of ice cream.. i would never thought that would happen.. I eed some new snack ideas... my selections are kind of boring.
totals....calories....1,161, carbs.... 44, fat..... 59, protein... 114
I think stea**** must be total fat.. look at that... wow... but they are so quick and easy to make.
see you later and enjoy the craziness if you can.. crazy days at work can be two things.. fun and challenging or exhausting and overwhelming.. I hope yours have been good... well I'm off to LA again.

...Yeah you definately have to watch out for the stea**** they were one of my lifelines in college and early marriage day, but they are killer in fat content ( as they should be cause look how good they taste
)
As for the sticking...Have you tried a cup of hot tea? That usually works for me and put a little shake of ginger powder in it that will help with the heartburn part of it...

B-- 1 scrambled egg with cheese, 1/2 slice bacon, 1/2 slice whole wheat toast, 1 small orange
S-- Danon Light & Fit yogurt with granola
L-- Bacon wrapped chicken, banana with peanut butter
S-- Protein shake
S-- 2 protein balls
D-- 1 taco made with ground turkey, cheese, low fat sour cream
S-- Sugar free pudding and South Beach cookies
Calories: 1582 Carbs: 140 Protein: 110
Went to the gym twice yesterday: Did a Kick-boxing class in the morning and a Spin Cycling class in the evening. I burnt a ton of calories yesterday!

Hey now, you had one AWESOME day !!! Great food, it all sounded so YUMMO and you did go on your totals + your usual gym mania, that has really got to help with keeping you on track... I finally made it back to the gym last night for water aerobics...The class time just flew by and what a rush, however, I was crashing by 9:30 so didn't get time to check in with everyone last night on the daily postings...

S - hot chocolate w/ protein
L - turkey wrap and 1/2 small fry
S - ritz crackers (2 servings over a few hours ...not good)
D - turkey wrap - NO FRIES.... yippie - improvement!!!
S - granola bar
Calories - 1094
Fat - 35 g
Carbs - 137 but if I take off the fiber then 105
Protein - 84 g
A little low on the calories but all in all I'm ok with it all!!

Welcome back and great job for working hard to get back on track...You can do it!!! The day was not bad at all, so give yourself a boost and know that each day will be better
...You can already see for yourself, you know what to do, AWESOME way to start off the new plan, just say NO to french fries

2 turkey/pickle rolls
OK - I know that looks out of control there at the end of the day. But I was still in my WW point range - the very tipsy top. I ate dinner super early so the first few small snacks were a few hours apart. Then before bed I thought I was done for the day when I got a SERIOUS salt craving and had the pickle rolls. I'm still quite proud of my day! Especially with 103 gr protein!
