Something is frying my liver???
I remember reading on here somewhere about someone having liver problems and it ended up being their prenatal vitamins. And I can't remember which vitamin or mineral it was in the prenatal vitamins that was too much to take all of the time. I remember the post because I too take prenatal vitamins and I got worried. But I had bloodwork done back on June 18 and my liver enzymes were perfect. But, anyway, I just wanted to say I am sorry you had that happen to you. Must have been really scary. Good luck and please let us know what you find out. I'll be thinking about you.

Hi Kathy
I am new to this website even though my surg was 4 yrs ago. I noticed the "Fingerlakes" on your post and was excited so see someone so local to me in Waterloo. You are looking great in your picture. I am rather poor in my computer ability and don't know how to scan a picture, etc., etc. I have come to this sight primarily for support to get back on track with food and exercise. I have gained 40# and need to get that wt. off. I will never be of normal wt and I accept that, but I do need to get back to feeling comfortable and more healthy. I am diet controlled diabetic and playing with fire I know with my crazy chocolate addiction.
Any way your post to Kathy seemed friendly and caring---so this seemed like a good time to jump in and share a bit. Thanks for being here.

Hi Kathy
Thanks for the encouragement. I read your profile just now and really like your attitude. I have begun going to a support group in Auburn each week. That is helping to own a bit of enthusiasm for my own wt loss. I have decided that I need to identify with maintaining a 160# wt loss--that's the important piece. I am so much healthier and for that I am grateful.
I think half the world knows the outlet mall. Whenever I am out in my yard on the weekend, invariably someone stops to ask for directions because they missed the first turn after getting off the thruway. Your pets are cute. I have an all white toy poodle and he is my cuddle buddy. He loves all of the attention he can possibly get.
Yep I love the outlet mall!!
Ive been to the wednesday night support group in Auburn at the hospital 4-5 times, but like the one in liverpool alot better. They sit in a big circle and talk one at a time asking questions. The one in Auburn was just like talk to who ever was sitting next to you, and didint seem to be structured at all. Maybe its changed since ive been, its been 6 months or so.
160lbs is just awsome!! Thats a whole person Marlyin!!
Yep I love my fur babies!! Yours sounds cute to. There such a part of the family. My cat is always by my side!!!

You are right I thought the meeting the first time was rather chaotic. The second one was a presentation about pilates which does not interest me at this point. However, I did find people friendly and helpful conversing 1:1 before and after the meeting. I am looking for resources to keep / get back on track. I have never done well with support groups OA. Is the Liverpool meeting each wk? Do you know of any other support groups in this area? I'm leary of Syracuse unless I have very specific driving directions. Otherwise I get lost--I used to go to nursing/addiction counseling seminars and would give myself a couple of hrs to get there or I likely be late.
I am looking forward to a picnic on Sun where I will see several acquaintances that I did water walking class with at NYCC. I'm hoping that reconnection will be the final motivator to getting back to the pool.
I just realized your TT was very recently. How are you doing and feeling?
My sister and I are about to make a quick trip to the mall--she just called. Shealso is a WLS grad
