Accountability - What did you eat Saturday 7/21?

Hey Captain - didn't see the post for today so I figured I would help you out.  I know you said your weekend was jam packed.  I hope you are having a fantastic time girl!!!! I had a good weekend and am going to play (well practice playing) tennis this evening so I wouldn't have another chance to post. 

2 c. coffee with ff creamer

B-Omelette with 2 egg beaters, slice fat free cheese, ham and peppers and mushrooms

S-Profect Protein tube (mixed in my water bottle)

L-1/2 ham and 2%cheese sandwich, 1 1/2 c. grapes

S-1/2 detour protein bar

D-3 oz. orange roughy, sauteed peppers and squash in Pam, 2 inch red potato with 2 T. lite sour cream

S-serving of Fage Greek yogurt, 1 c. fresh raspberries and 1/2 serving Special K hi protein cereal

TOTALS:  1147            Fat - 19             Carbs - 142       Protein - 113 High carb day but all good ones!!  The 2 fruits and small potato threw me up there but since they were all good healthy carbs I'm not gonna sweat it.  I felt I had a good day and changed up my variety some.  Wow, I almost felt I was cheating because I enjoyed the food so much!!!  Hope everyone's weekend is going well!!!

I didn't fitday my foods this weekend but here's what I had.  B - hot chocolate w/ protein powder L - 1/2 hamburger patty, 1/4 c cole slaw, 3 Tbsp baked beans, couple of home made potato chips (ick, didn't like those) S - chocolate chip cookie - ooooopps, now how'd that get in my mouth? D - a couple of bites of some weird chicken salad that I tried at an Asian restaurant.... ICK, not for me at all.  D2 - banana split (made with no sugar ice cream, cool whip, small banana, peanuts, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup) Geeee, I guess I didn't have a very good eatting day!!! We went to a pool party all afternoon and then out to dinner afterwards.  Oh well, tomorrow is a new day!!!!!!  Laurie

Hey Laurie, Weekends are a struggle for many of us, I continue to battle with following a good food plan on the weekend, my best made plans often get waylaid and I get off course...The goal is to get back on track as quickly as possible... My mantra, I AM THE CAPTAIN, I control my final destination and where I go on the off shore excursions...This surgery is for life, I have made commitment for life but I also live life, so far my choices have worked pretty well for me, when I get tooo out of my comfort zone I make adjustments... Tomorrow is another day, I renew my commitment each and every one of them...Join me Alesia

Yesterday was a crazy day!!!!!!! Too much of somethings not enough of others. I was at a music festival all day!! Coffee w/cream & splenda Fried egg 1 slice delite pizza  A few bites of my DH's  Subway sandwich 2 pcs of BBQ Pork Kebab I drank tons of water all day!!   Then some drinks ....oh no!!   Good News I had a great time!!!! 3 cosmos ....here's the biggy ....shared some nachos with my hubby before we headed home for the night!! I didn't have too many because I was afraid of a carb dump truck hitting me !! I felt great even though I wasn't eating great!! Total calories: 954    fat    46    carbs    35     protein  40 Today I am loading up on water and protein to make up for yesterday!!! Summer

Summer, Sounds like you had alot of fun and looks like you had a good day, despite your fear of the foray into carbs and alcohol... Hope you were successful with uping your water and protein today...I am on day 2 of not enough water, and I know it is going to come back to haunt me in the bathroom ...I'm shooting for 100 oz for Monday, wish me luck... Hey Sher, Give DH a kiss on the cheek and tell him hello from us...You said you had " a mostly good day" and here I am looking over you food list and thinking OK what was bad here ?!? You did great, keep doin' what your doin'...BTW good job on upping the cals a bit, I re-iterate, I think if you can keep them a little higher you will be favorable results on your scale... Well I have had a busy, crazy weekend myself. Off to grandmas on saturday and working on a video tape for work all day sunday. Didnt finish and was up til 1 am in the morning.. tired now..

so are you ready for this... I actually tried some wheat spagetti noodles today.. they went down with no problem.. spagetti is my friend... and since my spagetti takes 8 hours to make I am happy for that.

B- protein shake banana

S- protein bar

L- chicken and cheese

S- plum

D- spaggetti and salad.. yummy

S- ice cream and some pretzels

totals are.....calories...1,235, carbs... 114, fat.... 54, protein.... 107

Check out those carbs...lol.. not sure if that is good.. hehehe

I had a decent day - started out great anyway. B - Choco/strawberry protein shake 2 pc toast w/ SF jelly L - crab salad on toast grapes sm salad w/ FF rasberry dressing S - LF cottage cheese w/ pineapple light lays chips D - turkey burger broccoli salad corn on the cob Here's where things went wrong I suppose.  My hsband and I went to a social gathering.  I had kept the day somewhat light in order to enjoy a drink or two.  Do you realize that most alcohol does NOT have a nutritional label on it?  WTF?  Isn't that a law now?  Not a beer fan at all - and only seeing mixed drinks lathened with sugar and other bad things - I opted for a bacardi silver.  OK - maybe 2 bacardi silver.  They made me sweat and I wondered how much sugar was in them - but alcohol makes me hot too. I got home and googled it.  HOLY CRAP.  They are like 225 cals EACH.  EACH!!!!  ALLL SUGAR.  I about cried!  I might as well had a few daquaris.  I need to be better prepared BEFORE I go to a social gathering next time. I am quite proud of myself though - because instead of just throwing the day out the window.  I came home and made myself a small salad before better and had a peice of bread & butter.  I was hungry but I didn't let me slip up send me over the edge. Small steps...small steps!
