Howdy Everyone, It late Friday nite and I have a jammed day on plan for tomorrow so I'm posting in the wee hours of the night to try and get ahead of the game... I really don't know what got into me today...I really did not feel like I was eating out of the water, much more controlled in my choices than Thursday, yet when I put it all in tonight I see numbers that a simply out of control... Saturday I am re-capturing control of my vessel, which is obviously be held hostage by  aliens ...Saturday WILL BE A BETTER DAY - I AM THE CAPTAIN, I AM THE CAPTAIN, I AM THE CAPTAIN !!! B - 20 oz 1/2 caf sf/ff 20 fv & caramel latte       1/4 of a sf lemon blueberry bar       2 oreo ( how moley, I had not clue how many cals where in these when I decided to pick one          up and eat it, let alone 2 ) S - 3 m & m's        1/2 oz cheddar        2 slices pepperoni L - 1 1/2 slices thin crust pepperoni pizza S - oatmeal & pb bar       1 butter toffee       1 sf caramel D - 1/4 cup salad w/ 1 tsp honey mustard        2 chicken hot wingettes        1 1/2 oz mushroom bacon swiss burger no bun        5 french fries S - 2 mini sf choc cupcakes       1 snakright nsa yogurt oatmeal creme cookie ( gotta remember the label did say "not a low          calorie food" PLUS - 86 oz water/crystal light TOTAL    =     Cals - 1747     Fat - 80     Carbs - 177     Protein - 82 Cals and Carbs really sucked ( pardon my french ) and I really did not even get good payoff in protein in exchange ...Alesia

Wow up with the owls I see.. hehehe.. me too.. so I will post with you... wow.. got a few calories in today I see. and the carbs are scary.. but its all good.. I didnt do so well.. i was doing the napping thing today so I didnt get all my meals in.. so I am on the low end...

Saw my pcp today.. she is happy the doc figured out my leg problems and cleared me to do the gym except for leg presses.. so I am happy with that.. cant wait to get sweating again.. but for today.. it was a lazy day for me..

L- 2 oz of chicken with some cheese

S- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

D- 2 oz of steak and 5 bites of a salad

S- ice cream with protein and some pretzels...

totals for the day.... calories 1,022, carbs...78, fat... 32, protein..... 109

didnt drink enough either.. that sleeping thing really gets in the way of my plans... lol.. but I love my fridays off to myself.. I am usually totally busy but today I actually had some me time.. to bad I wasnt awake to remember it..lol

Hello Girly, You did good, no matter what you think, to me that is because you made strides in getting more of your protein thru food, thus helping find a way to increase you cal count too - if you had not slept thru snack time I'll bet your totals for the day would have been awesome, but they were still not bad That is great that the docs have figured out what is going on with the numbness, now that you can get that taken care of I know you will be back to the gym going gangbusters so start practicing now on keeping up the daily cal and carb  counts up( need to be @ 75-100 when you are doing serious exercise )... I know you are more conscious of not enough water yesterday and are already making up for it today, and that is important cuz otherwise if you're like me a couple days of low water and you will be stopped up and have to have help to poop (tmi)... oh yeah i had my pizza. we have a place called Pudgies and oh its soooooooooo good....i ate 1 slice and bought the other one home. yum yum... anita

Good morning Alesia! B-- 1 scrambled egg with cheese, 1/2 slice whole wheat toast, 6 strawberries L-- chicken breast, 1 small slice banana bread, 1 protein ball S-- protein shake D-- went to a BBQ and luckily they had chicken ... so I ate chicken and a bite of corn on the cob (yuck, that does NOT sit well for me!) S-- icecream and a brownie (which quickly put me in a sleep state so I went to bed!)

Calories:  1144            Carbs:  97       Protein:   101 I didn't exercise today ... I took the day off because my poor legs were TIRED! Deanna  :)

Girl - you can't do corn on the cob?  My heart goes out to you.  I basically live on it during the summer.  This midwest girl is a corn on the cob junkie and my pouchy likey!!  Every Saturday I find some farmer selling it out of their truck and buy a dozen.  We probably eat it 4 nights a week.  Thank god everyone in my house feels the same way I do.  There's been nights I've been tempted to skip the main course and just eat two ears for dinner.  YUM YUM YUM.  He he . Sorry - I'm just so passionate about it.  Obsessd even. Love ya! :)

Hey Deana, You are doing awesome, keep up the good job, OK !!...Know what you mean about the corn, my nut & doc told us we would have to give up corn after surgery, you know it doesn't really digest even in a normal stomach and they say it is really hard on the new pouchie, I still dabble in corn a little when it is mixed in recipes, but have not had it as an alone sidedish in over 2 years, really do miss corn on the cob, with lots of salt and butter ( maybe its better I'm skipping it after all  ) Give the legs a break and don't feel bad about the day of rest, you are a power exerciser, so I know you will make up for it another day... I so love corn and make it all the time for the family but I tell you.. I cant do it mayself... it kicks my little pouchies butt.. I take a bite but know that is my limit and hang on and hope it goes through..... now I would have died with that icecream and brownie.. i know you can do sugar.. I'm so jealous.. i can barely do sugar aclochol myself.
