It's almost the weekend - Hey Everybody Thursday we had an open house at my office - the snack table was loaded and I was cranking along all day with regular stops at the table or just standing around chatting and snacking...I don't think I could realistically break my day down into meals, it was one GIANT  snack fest with no real "meals" at all...I'm just going to post the totals of each item and my grand totals for the day...Its a good thing I don't do this often, it was a real eye opening experience and definately could be a major pitfall on my road to continued maintenance...Here goes : 10 oz  Choc/coconut Protein on the Go 11  1/4 oz slices of cheddar, mozzerella or colby jack cheese 11 slices of pepperoni 6 ritz crackers 2 servings sf blueberry lemon bars 3 sf mini gingersnaps 1 mini choc cupcake a bite of chex mix 1 1/2 slices of thin crust pepperoni, mushroom & pineapple pizza 2 bites of brownie 1 Oh Yeah! choc protein bar PLUS - 92 oz water/crystal light TOTALS  =     Cals - 1509     Fat - 82     Carbs - 92     Protein - 86 Arrevedierci...Alesia

Ooooh...that all looks so yummy.  I'd be patting myself on the back if I were you.  You still only had 1500 cals and enjoyed the social aspect of the food day.  Today is food day here at my work today and I MUST avoid going anywhere near it.  It's a slipper ysloap for me.  Even one little cookie could switch my mind set over - like a trigger - I'd end up eating a dozen - going for Chinese for lunch - ordering a pizza for dinner and baking brownies.  I'm holding out like fort knox and not even walking past it.  I snuck in early and dropped off my SF Zucchini/Pineapple/Craisin muffins.  If there are any left at the end of the day I may indulge in one - but otherwise I'll stay strong.  :) Yesteday was a good day for me!  B - Chocolate/Banana Protein Smoothie Coffee W/ SF Creamer S - Banana L - Boca burger - no bun Salad w/ FF Italian Dressing Watermelon S - 100 Cal Kettle Corn D - Buffalo grilled chicken salad w/ FF blue cheese dressing  Bakes potato w/ LF sour cream 1/3 of a zucchini muffin after I made them (had to try them right?  - my DD helped polish off the rest of it) S - Chocolate/Strawberry Protein Smoothie 2 pc toast w/ SF Jelly 2 ou. Light Lays chips (had a salt craving BIG TIME) I'm tracking WW points right now  - so not sure on cals - but I was in my point range for the day and got 104 g protein and about 70 ounces water.

Hi Amy, I posted a welcome to you on your other post ...Those muffins sound really great, how about posting the recipe...I still indulge my cravings for sweets albeit usually thru sf or nsa desserts and I'm open to try new recipies, always...

Looks like a great day of choices to me, don't see you going overboard on carbs which will help since you are still trying to lose another 50 lbs...How long have you been working the WW program?  I might suggest too, to help with continued loss to limit fats, my nut had us on a program where you read the nutrician label, go across from the cals line on the labels to where is says cals from fat, multiply that number by 3, if it is less than or equal to the cals then it is OK to eat as far as fat content goes...I think this, the limited carbs and regular exercise were key in helping me reach my goal and hope this formula can help you too...

Welcome to accountability...please come back often...  Alesia

Thanks for the warm welcome! :)  I've always been a big fan of accountability threads like this. Of course I'll share my SF Zucchini/Pineapple/Craisin RECIPE!!  I love love love sharing recipes! :)  I loosely use the splenda recipe for zucchini bread - I modified it with some added pineapple & craisins.  Took out the nuts (I don't like em)  Subbed a little whole wheat flour in to bump up the fiber.  Then I cook in muffin pans for easier sharing!  You can still cook the same recipe in an 8in loaf pan if you prefer - just bump up your cook time to about 40 min.  Mine made a dozen muffins - if you follow WW at all they are 3 pts each.  I think somewhere in the neighborhood of 160 cals.  They would also be fun in little mini-muffin tin - bite size goodness! :) They turned out quite yummy.  My toddler devoured one and my husband was disappointed they were for work.  He's already called and asked if there are any returning home :) INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup whole-wheat flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 large eggs 1 1/4 cups Splenda 1/4 cup canola oil 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup shredded zucchini 1/2 cup crushed pineapple 1/3 cup craisins
  DIRECTIONS:
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray a muffin pan with cooking spray.
2 Combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
3 Beat eggs and splenda on medium speed with an electric mixer for 5 minutes. Add oil, applesauce and vanilla; beat at medium speed 1 minute or until blended. Add flour mixture; beat at low speed just until blended. Stir in zucchini, pineapple & craisins. Spoon batter into prepared muffin pan.
4 Bake 20-25 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.
As per your ? about WW.  I did WW for YEARS and years and a few more years before having WLS.  I was successful on and off with it.  I've been doing it for the past few weeks now.  Loosely really.  Trying to make it work for me now.  It just seems easier to keep track of the pts to me  :)

Hi Summer, I really don't think I held up all that well, did snack all day ...My saving grace was that I had a big hand in planning the food for the day and I targeted people to bring stuff that weren't to bad in the carbs, the boss ordered the pizza but I never can eat much of that with crust at a time, so managed to control that too...I think my worst downfall was the blueberry lemon bars, I made those, so I did have total control as far as content and I cut the normal single serving into 4 bite side squares so I could indulge repeatedly and still be within a reasonable limit ( those things are just too yummy to pass by )... Now enough about me, on to you :   GREAT DAY ! and I don't think you need to lower you carbs too much more, my nut always told me not to do less than 45-50 a day for long term because your brain functions need carbs to work and extended time on really low carbs numbers can cause memory loss issues and sluggishness among other things...Also, I know this sounds weird, but more cals might actually push to into loss mode again, also try shaking up your exercise routine, like maybe adding 15 minutes of fast walking early in the morning if you are an afternoon/evening workout person, or vice versa, I did this when I was in a major stall during my 1st year and after about 10 days on the shake up schedule suddenly I started losing again really well... You are doing great, keep up the good work...  Alesia
