Gee Alesia~ I hope that you don't mind if I started the thread for today.  I was up early and looking for something to do.  Since three weeks makes a habit, I figured I better get into the groove of it.   If you prefer to start, please let me know and I will learn some patience and wait. 6:00 am   SF english toffee latte made at home-decaf nonfat  90 cal  13 carbs  9 protein 9:30 am   Weight control oatmeal                                                 160 cal  29 carbs  7 protein                   banana (1 small)                                                              93 cal  24 carbs  1 protein 12:30 p     1 cup shredded romaine lettuce                                     8 cal     2 carbs  0 protein                   3 ozs cooked chicken                                                      94 cal     0 carbs 20 protein 3:00 p       3 non pareils                                                                     57 cal     3 carbs   1 protein 5:15 p       1 wedge Laughing Cow light                                         35 cal     1 carbs   3 protein                   3 vegetable crackers                                                       70 cal    17 carbs  1 protein                  Deli slices                                                                           50 cal     2 carbs   9 protein 6:30 p        3.5 ozs pork chop                                                            197 cal   0 carb    27 protein                    1 cup cooked broccoli                                                       55 cal  11 carb    4 protein                    1 slice 2% pepperjack cheese                                        15 cal   0  carb    4 protein 9:00 p       1 Linden's Butter Crunch Cookie                                   100       11 carb     2 protein totals:        1015 cals   112 carbs   88 protein  (FYI~19 fats)  98 ozs fluids. Still room for improvement for sure.....but I have cut out my twice daily biscotti habit and no bread.  If I could find a sweet low carb/low cal alternative for at night (crunchy), that would be helpful. Have a great day everyone!!! Anjanette

Miss Anita~ I didn't realize that you live in Elmira~my sister and brother in law live there with my newest nephew.  We actually just spent a week visiting.  I am from NY originally, though now I live in Ca with DH and 2 DSs.  We are actually considering moving there in a few years. When I am there in October for my nephew's first birthday, I will get in contact.  Maybe we can hook up for coffee or a light lunch. Have a great day!!  Stay strong.  Today will be a great day!! Anjanette, yes i'm from elmira... i'm right off roe ave. i'm one block from Arnot hospital. that would be great when you come to visit and we could get out. i would love that. that sounds wonderful. the people here that had wls are all stuck up and they think they are better than anyone else. i hate that. my sister lives in ca. she is in sunnyvale, ca. i am not sure where that is though. have a great day. anita

Hey, Hey Anita ! Don't stress the day, the carbs and cals were high cause you had a starch-carby food with pretty much every meal or snack this will push your numbers up for both carbs and cals...Its still not off the chart, but if you want to keep these down need to limit eh starch-carby's to 2 or less times a day...

None the less, food choices look really great, you are making really good choices and avoiding the snack food that have little value like chips and real sugar candy, so keep doing what you are with slight modifications... See ya soon... Alesia

Hi Alesia, I dont like having high carbs and cals... you know what i want to snack at night why i dont know. i never have a snack till night time. maybe i should have a snack during the day but i am concerned about getting my water in. i keep track of my water very good. every single bottle i writr down and the time. so far my carbs and all is good today. still have to add a shake for more protein. see you later. anita

You know what I do to beat off the after dinner snackies is have a protein hot cocoa, gives me something sweet for my chocolate urge, warm cause I'm cold in the A/C, extra protein that I need and keeps my mouth occupied so I'm not slipping bad food choices into it... Alesia

Thats pretty much true for me too I think.. things like chili i can get quite a bit in.. chicken/steak.. not so much. I should try to get more protein from food but I like the bars and balls.. and I still have a little room to do a fruit or two.. I am looking at ways to change it up a bit.. Thanks for the info.. I may try it over the weekend to eat more food protein and less suppliments.
