Carla, I got such a good chuckle out of your candy story!  Oh man, that sounds awful! Something has been giving me gas lately too and I'm not sure what it is.  But last night it was SOOOOO bad!  It sure is miserable to sit around trying to expel all that gas!  Ha, ha! Your protein intake is awesome!  I'm trying to add a protein drink in the morning to boost my protein.  We'll see if that helps.  I seem to be at a stall for a couple months now and I'd love to lose another 10 pounds!  Ssshhh, don't tell anyone! That wasnt even the half of it... my poor kids and family threatened to go to a hotel.. my one son was trying to help me by hitting my back to move it along which worked until I almost blasted him across the room when one got loose.. it was bad.. really bad.. and just wouldnt end.. I tell you...

I think it's great that you are increasing your protein and it should help with that last 10 pounds.. you continue to move from what I see but it is slower now.. just like me.. and dont worry I wont tell hubby.. i know how he gets about it... just dont tell my doc I lost another 12 pounds when she threatened me like yours did to not loose more either..lol.. we are so bad.

OH yeah girl, You have really got to be careful how many sugar alcohols you consume at one time, they can really reek havoc on the tummy and the bowels, I read an article, just this morning about the uses and benefits of consuming sugar alcohols and what they really mean in terms of food values and consumption, it said you need to watch not to eat more than 10 grams per eating period to avoid having issues and I've heard many a horror story from others that it takes far less for some...I know myself, they make me gassy but little other side effects unless I consume tons ( and I mean tons ) at one time...

Barring the candy episode, your day looked really fine, fine, fine, indeed ... Hope you are better today, might take a couple of days to pass all the side effects of the candy...   Alesia

Poor Alesia - stupit thunderstorms !!  Hopefully, Friday will work out for your water aerobics!!  Your food yesterday was great - and your carbs - woohoo for youyou!!!!!  B - 1/2 c Grape Nuts w/2 T ground flax, banana, 1 c ff milk S - 1 pack pb on wheat crackers, AchievONE L - 20 oz ff sf decaf caramel latte', 1 pack O'Coco's, sf Jell-O cup, 2 sf Werthers S - 1 c cherries, 3 parm cheese wafers, AchievONE D - WW fettucine w/broccoli (durn carbs!!!), sf Jell-O cup w/ff RW, sf fudgie S - 2 oz lf Pringles (grrrrrr - I've been doing SO good only doing 1 oz - I'm already in vacation mode), 1 slice sandwich cheese, 1 sf Werther Plus I drank 68 oz water, 16 oz half decaf coffee, 16 oz decaf diet green tea, 16 oz sf ff hot cocoa w/ff RW and I treaded for 60 minutes. Total calories - 2131 fats - 54; carbs - 299; protein - 117 Have a great day, all!!!  Toodles, Cap'n!!

Hey There Connie,  No early start on vacation, the splurge will come soon enough...I know you can hold on tight and save up for when you put away thoughts of tracking every bite and just try to follow most of the rules ( thats how I react on vacation )...

Hey Girl - I don't what got into me last night!!  I actually got up out of bed because I was so hungry!!!  I've NEVER done that.  Maybe not eating enough with my exercise????  I walked 40 min before work and then had a tennis lesson for 1 1/2 hours last night which was a hard workout - SOOOO sore!!!  Anyway here goes - 2 c. coffee with ff creamer B-2 Boca breakfast lins, 1/2 boiled egg and 1 boiled egg white S-Nectar drink L-Veggie salad with 3 oz. Ahi Tuna, 1/4 c. chickpeas, 4 T. Newman's Light Balsamic  S-(before tennis)- 1/4 c. Active cottage cheese and berries (yuck - threw the rest away), 1/2 lean ham and 2%cheese sandwich, 1/2 cup steamed broccoli with spray butter S-cup nonfat sugar free yogurt, 1/2 c. pineapple chunks and 11 almonds S-(got out of bed and ate due to hunger!!!!)- 1/2 ham sandwich, 1/2 cup sugar free pudding, 1/2 detour protein bar and 1/4 c. special k high protein cereal (dry while I was looking for something to eat!!!) TOTALS:   Cals - 1301   Fat - 38    Carbs - 126    Protein - 133 Oh, and still that time of the month

Hello Girly, Maybe its the time of the month thing that got you out of the bed...Anyway, even with the midnight foraging your day looked great !  Keep up the good work and the exercise too ... You made me laugh with that remark about the dry Special K eaten while looking for "real" food to eat, I find myself doing this frequently, which in turn ruins the meal I'm planning to eat, cuz now I'm full on the snackies ...
