Accountability - What did you eat, Tuesday 7/17?
hi alesia, well i know i needed more protein. today will be better. i hope..... wasnt sure on the calories for that cheeseburger so didnt find it in fitday. so today will be better. i will up the protein. i just dont want to be eating all day to do that. you know what i mean. B- l&f orange mango yogurt ( 1 serving) flax seed meal ( 1 serving )
L- 1 Cheeseburger, dressed on bun - went to a resturant
D- 1/3 c. Spaghetti, cooked, fat added in cooking 1/2 Spaghetti sauce w/ combination of hamburger,onion,garlic 1 T. parm. cheese
S- atkins cho. pb bar ( 1 serving )
S- 1 c. watermelon
S- 2 c.air popped popcorn in oil
S- 6 oz. sf. jello S- 5 round crackers
exercise: went to the hospital gym for an hour also did hand weights at home
16 oz. def. coffee 120 oz. plain water
Hi Anita, Todays totals look better, yesterday wasn't bad, but today looks way better...Don't worry about the burger out, they can't do much to hamberger to really make the cals out of wack, its the topping you have to watch out for, if it had alot of exotic stuff on top that may affect the total somewhat, but the good news is hamberger is a great protein source, so think of it in a positive way... Know what you mean about feeling like you're eating all day to get in so many cals, need to try and chunk up at meal times, maybe take a few minutes longer to eat and get a little more in so you really do have a break between meals to get in some drinking time... U are doing great , keep it up, OK...Alesia

Hey Deanna, Lookin' good girl...I have to say that I think it is a great idea to add a protein drink at the beginning of the day to help increase your protein intake...I might be slightly prejudice in this respect, because I start have one every day and have since I was given go ahead to begin full liquid diet way back @ 3 weeks post surgery...I still think this is the best way to start the day ...

Hello Ms. Nursygirl Welcome to our accountability board...Glad to hear you are currently using a food tracker, it is definately on of the best ways to keep up with accounting for your food actions...You don't say, but I see you are 2 years out, so was wondering if you have reached your goal yet? I checked out your personal page, but it only shows your BMI as 11.3, is that a typo? Anyway, I wanted to say you are doing a GREAT job with your food choices ...I think your carb level is pretty good unless you are still in the extreme losing phase you need to keep the carbs up a little in order for your brain and body to function right...Also you might think about a few more cals in a day too, most docs & nuts agree that under 1000 ruins your metabolism and keeps your body in constant starvation mode, perhaps a low carb protein drink once a day would be a good way to increase protein, keep carbs low and also add just a few more cals into the mix (just a suggestion)...

Well I have to tell you.. Yesterday I found these really cool hard candies made with crystal light.. 4 of the was only 25 calories and since I was driving all over LA I figured I could eat a few.... OMG.. ok so I bite hard candy so I ate a few of them... than all of a sudden my tummy said what.. what are u doing.. growling louder than I ever heard. I spent 6 hours, 4 gas-x on the floor trying to get the gas out.. I was miserable all night.. that sugar alchol is a bad thing.. dang my tummy is just to sensitive... Feel better today but that bag of candy went in the trash.. never again..
Food was ok.. i did eat some dinner which probably wasnt a good choice as my tummy was hurting but stupid me thought it might help..

D- steak with some cheese
S- ice cream
totals calories...1,301, carbs... 54, fat... 70 protein...132
