Good day All I'm a little excited, I've gotten clearance to start back at the gym and will be back to my water aerobics tonight, really have been missing them... Today I need to buckle up and tighten up my day a little, the weekend alcohol excesses have reflected themselves on my scale for the last 2 days, I'm still in my comfort range of +/-3 lbs but now is the time to make adjustments and bring it back down to my goal #  and  of course, exercising again will help too... B - 1 oz peanuts       2 butter toffees S - snak size sf jello       4 oz lf cottage cheese L - 20 decaf hazelnut & caramel latte       SnackRight nsa oatmeal-n-yogurt creme cookie S - 3 sf peanut butter cups D - 3/4 of an openface manwich with 1 oz of cheese melted on top        1 cup caesar salad w/ almond slivers S - 2 sf choc dipped joseph's cookies       1 protein ball PLUS -  62 oz water/crystal light & 5 oz hot tea with lemon & honey (little low  ) TOTALS -    Cals - 1392     Fat - 65     Carbs - 137     Protein - 79 See ya'll...Alesia

Hey Alesia!!  Did you think I disappeared????  Well, I did. No, I was on vacay in the Outer Banks and then off all last week.  I have NOT been the model WLS patients for this past 1 1/2 weeks but I am back and started tracking food again yesterday.  I feel so much more in control doing this!!!  The one small miracle is that I lost 1/2 pound and when I used to go on vacation I would sometimes gain 10!!!  I have been more active though so that's a start.  Back to the healthy choices for me - and I've actually missed them!!! Have fun tonite :) 2 c. coffee with ff creamer B-2 slices Canadian Bacon, 1/2 c. scrambled eggs S-Nectar protein drink L-Salad with zesty lemon tuna pouch, 1/4 c. chickpeas, 2 T. Newmans light balsamic and 2 T. Lite done right 3 cheese ranch S-mozzarella stick D-1 oz. boiled shrimp, 2 oz. Ahi Tuna, 1/4 c. spinach and mushrooms, 1/4 c. broccoli S-1/2 skinny cow ice cream sandwich (can't wait till these are gone), 1/2 detour protein bar TOTALS:   Cals - 1091  Fat - 35   Carbs - 67        Protein - 123

Hey Niecey,

Welcome back !!! Hope you had a great time...You are doing so awesome, imagine going on vacation and coming back to have the scale say you lost weight, never could have said that pre-surgery, at least I know I couldn't...

Looks like a great food day for you, obviously, even though you didn't track it, you must have been doing something right, so keep up the good work  No gym tonight, I'm bummed, we are having lightening and thunderstorms, so they closed the pool... Alesia

You had a good day yesterday by the looks of it!!!  The booze weight will come off fas****er aerobics will sure help!!  Woohoo for you!!!  B - 1 c Shredded Wheat w/2 T ground flax, banana, 1 c ff milk S - 8 oz nsa lf blueberry yogurt, AchivONE L - 1 med apple w/1 T pb, 1 pack O'Coco's, sf Jell-O cup, 2 sf Werthers S - 1 c mixed fresh fruit, 1 slice sandwich cheese, AchievONE D - 3 oz salad w/4 T fresh parm ch, 3 T lf TI dressing, sf Jell-O cup w/ff RW, sf fudgie, 1 sm grilled yellow squash, 1 homegrown tomato slice S - 1/4 c almonds, 1 oz apple chips Plus I drank 66 oz water, 16 oz half decaf coffee, 16 oz decaf diet green tea, 12 oz cf Diet Coke, 16 oz ff sf hot cocoa and instead of treading, I cleaned the house. Total - 1888 fats - 58; carbs - 257; protein - 99

WoooWhoo Connie, you had another GREAT day !!! I'm proud of you girl, you are doing awesome, Cals , protein too...  No gym, got rained out by thunder and lightening, closed water aerobics...Will try again on Friday... Alesia

Hi Alesia! I'm so glad you get to go back to water aerobics ... there is something so gratifying about being in the water!  I love it!   For me yesterday: B-- 2 scrambled eggs, 1/2 slice whole wheat toast L-- 1/2 ham and cheese sandwich, 8 strawberries, 1/2 serving Sun Chips S-- 1 small chocolate chip cookie, 10 cherries D-- I couldn't get down the steak I made so I ate a protein ball instead S after gym-- part of a burrito with veggies and beans Calories:  1166        Carbs:  115          Protein:  51 OK, not a great day ... I needed more calories because I put in 1 hour at the gym in a kick-boxing class.  I should have eaten more!  For some reason the smell of that steak cooking yesterday made me all pukey feeling.  And no, I am NOT pregnant!  But the smell of things is getting to me today too ... I don't know what my problem is.  Usually I want to eat everything in sight and today my stomach is feeling blue.  The smell of foods is turning my stomach.  Oh well, we'll see what happens! Deanna

Hi Deanna, Man that sucks about the smells, but I know what you mean, sometimes I can't each just because the smell turns me off, although this has never happen with any meats for me except when I was prego ( since you're not, no worries there )...

It was still a good food day and if you work like I do, your body will want to make up for the shortfall from yesterday by craving more today, if you can work it in just eat a few more cals and protein today...It will all balance out fine, I'm sure...

 I do love the water, unfortunately, I'm canx for tonight, rained out by thunder and lightening...Will try again on Friday... See ya...Alesia

thats great news.. I hope to hear from my doc on friday I can start doing more myself.. I have had a crazy day today with the next two about the same.. I had 3 appointments today and the same the next two days.. crazy driving all over los angeles going to these things..

Yesterday was quiet and I think I did ok.. so here it goes

B- protein drink

S- protien bar

L- southbeach meal

S- protein balls 2

D- steak and spinach.

S- ice cream, cherries, and pretzels..

Trying to get it up..lol

totals cals 1,344, carbs...108, fat... 45, protein... 132

drank at least 100 oz too yeah.
