Did You Move To Lose Today? Showed my DH!!!!
Hey Everyone
It's almost the weekend!!! YES, YES, YES!!!
I got up this morning and didn't feel so great so I didn't go to the gym. By the time I was feeling better I had to get on line as I work from 11-7.
My DH lost his job back in November and to say money is tight is an understatement. He had a lawn mower service come in and I nixed that puppy real fast. $200.00 a month? I don't think so...I told him to go and get a lawn mower from a neighbor as it's been so hot here the yard really has not grown much. Well I hear the lawn mower for about 5 mins. We have a mother of a yard, it's BIG....
I go outside and he is sitting on the pouch drinking a beer. What is up with that? He said he was out of breath and out of shape and to give him a break. Well this weight lifting Mama, went out in the yard, started the lawn mower and cut the entire yard and he just about died.
The construction guys were laughing their butts off across the street as this little 128 pound women cuts the grass while the 6'4" big guy stands and watches....
So my friends if you think working out doesn't help just think about where my DH is for endurance and where I am..... I think it helps
So my friends Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today? Come on and share how you are getting healthy, losing weight and feeling GREAT
Stay Sexy, Sassy and Strong!
Take care,
Kathy

Hey, Good for You Kathy! Way to Go!!!!!!!!!
I put the kids on their scooters and we did 2 miles. The scooter thing works out great b/c I can keep a nice fast pace and the kids stay in front of me and out of the way, LOL. Anyway, I'm getting back on the exercise wagon finally~YEAH!!!!!!!!

So I've been back in the gym for about 6 - 8 weeks, 4 times a week. I walk 3 miles on the treadmill or do some arc trainer elyptical. I have added upper body. Guess what folks... a 10 lb loss... a real 10 lb loss. 2 more pounds and I am back to where I was when I started gaining. Then I am getting somewhere. I still have 40 lbs to goal.. .but thats ok. I never got there but I'll never stop trying. I feel healthier, happier, and in control. And by the way... at 50 yrs old... I did my first 5K on the 4th of July. I walked and was the last one over the line.. but I did it anyway! I also mow my own yard... a big one.... and can run circles around most folks 10 years younger.
I feel good!
